Chapter 4 - Gringotts part 1

Potter Manor, Caithness, Scotland.

Narrators POV:

11 Nov 1981.

Charlus Potter was watching his wife Dorea taking care of little Hades. She was busy showering all their love for him. She is already busy making sure Hades is fed well if he can sleep, etc. It's been three days since they had brought hades from Petunia's place. They learned that he had been there in the past few days. They never care for him. They never even feed or change the diaper till it is necessary. He usually falls asleep in that blasted cupboard after crying for a long time. Charlus doesn't even know if the people who retrieve him from the ruins of the cottage even care enough to take him to a healer or check for any injuries that might have occurred that night.

Charlus: Dorea, we should take him to a healer.

Dorea: I was thinking about the same. It seems a good idea. Who knows what kind of injuries he may suffer? Did they even take him to a healer or not? Child magic can heal injury faster. After all, in a child, the magic always works to keep them safe. On outwards it may seem ok. But it is not always the case.

Charlus just hums. That's when Charlus remembers Sirius.

Charlus: I completely forgot about Sirius in between all the things. Where is he, he does not show up here yet. Not even an enquiry. He should have known we would come to take Hades. What had happened for him to become completely careless like this? He should have been here by now after the Aurors questioned him. Why he is not here?

Dorea: You know Arcturus, my brother. He may be lecturing him for his reckless Gryffindor tendency.

Charlus who is a proud Gryffindor made an offended sound. "Hay...!". Dorea just chuckles and goes back to continue to play with Hades, while Charlus goes and floo calls Arcturus black.

Black manor:

Arcturus black along with his son Orion, cousin Pollux and the rest of his family were in the middle of a heated argument about how to take out Sirius from Azkaban and gain Harry's guardianship. That's when they received a floo call. They can't believe what they are seeing or who has called them. It was Charlus Potter. Even though it is not confirmed by James. Like everyone else, some of them also thought they had died in the attack. Yet here stands Charlus Potter. Arcturus Black has some doubt that his friend survived. He also hopes if Charlus is ok then his sister Dorea is also healthy. His mind doesn't seem to understand if he should be happy his sister is probably alive and healthy all this time or get mad at them for hiding about their welfare health.

Pollux seems to think to take it as a trick though. He seems to become enraged by a possible foul play. Furious Pollux wop out his wand a lightning speed and began to shout at Charlus "Who dares to do such a trick with house of black". Furious uncontrolled Pollux is a dangerous person. And any person who gets into his bad side needs to run as fast as they can to save their life. Yet all they get in return is a chuckle from Charles.

Arcturus Black thought "Way to go Charles. You are inviting a disaster. A duel with an enraged Pollux." Looking and Cassiopeia, then he again mentally added, "Maybe one with cassis too. Or maybe they will duel you together. Ah! A sight to behold."

Charlus: Come on in-laws. I know the entire family is filled with if not a bit, then totally paranoid people. But stop shouting. Come to Potter Manor immediately with Sirius. I need to have some colourful words with him, that irresponsible idiot. "He told the last part in an "I meant business" kind of voice."

The entire black family only need the invitation to Potter Manor to affirm they are not hallucinating (if everyone can hallucinate same time, same thing) or being tricked by their enemy. This is indeed Charlus Potter. But when he asked about Sirius they asked "Charlus, don't you know he is in Azkaban?"
