I hate Thunder and Lightning. There, I said it: I hate Thunder and lightning. It's not a phobia, it's just, I have a good reason why. Imagine that you're standing outside, in the rain, gripping a wet, slick metal pole with the silk soaking wet and clinging on to your equally soaking uniform/body/clothing. Then imagine that it's in the middle of your show, you're performing your ass off, and then it thunders in the distance. That's right, I'm talking about performing a field band show in the rain. Don't get me wrong, the Marching Band performs in the rain, just not when it's pouring rain or thundering. When that happens on a show day, they either cancel the rest of the show (It's happened to me before), or move the show inside (Again, happened to me before)
Aggggh! That was scary. If you haven't already figured it out, I'm writing this during a thunderstorm.
Ok, back to what I was saying. It's very scary to be outside, when you notice a lightning bolt in the distance. Then you get somewhat scared. I'm finishing this now, so I invite you readers to tell your thunderstorm stories down below in the comments section.
