Now, you may be wondering why I was on after 9. Well, that's because I was at my school, for an annual thing for the Marching Band called Lock-In. We get basically locked in the school and have fun inside the school WHERE IT'S SAFE. They always have an inflatable, like a bouncy castle and an inflatable Velcro Wall, a Talent show, which I always dread watching the trumpets because they do the weirdest stuff. then again, they are a pretty weird bunch, but not all of them, if you are thinking that I'm insulting you, CLAIRE. cbear1023 I did not mean to insult you if this does, but the trumpets I know are weird and mostly boys anyway. I remember one thing that I have read in another fanfiction called How to Train your Marching Band, that section weirdness does not combine well with the other sections brands of weirdness. (i.e. saxaphone weirdness does not mesh well with clarinet weirdness, taken from How to Train your Marching Band, excellant source of examples of a real marching band, in my opinion. On Fanfiction.net) Well, that went on a tangent. Back to what I was saying. Anyway, the Talent show went like this, as I can remember from my memory last night: First went the clarinets, then the midvoices, I don't know who went after them, either the baritones or the flutes, Then pit, then GUARD, I didn't participate, but I did record it but I can't share it with you, then the drumline, oh goddesses they played along on kazoos to The Final Countdown, it was so silly, then the trumpets. The trumpets did a dance to one of the GUARDS warmup songs, and the guard (including me) screamed nicely at them because we knew the song (it's the song at the [first] party in the [recent] movie The Great Gatsby with Leonardo Di Caprio if you're wondering). Then two other acts, one was another trumpet with a saxaphone, and a fellow guard member, that is an extremely good dancer because she took dance for from what I know her entire life, and she did a dance that was extremely good, and I have this dilemma, because I like to call her a dance queen, but so is Lindsey Stirling, and it's very hard to decide which one is better. My fellow guard members agree with me on this: This is very hard to decide who is a dance queen. She's also a soloist in the guard during the show, along with me, but in the ballad (A style, not a slow song. There is a difference), and guard is her life, and I am serious, she loves guard so much that she is a spunky member of the guard and winterguard. More than me, and she is very good. We like to call ourselves a little family, wel the guard is a family, and we are held to a different standard than the band. Again, going off on a tangent. Why do I jkeep on doing this, don't judge me. Anyway, some of us (including me) were bummed out that we didn't get to perform on the football field last night because it was raining steadily here in New York. So the officials moved the competition to indoors, and I did complain about it to jaybug16 on here last night. My new profile pic is actually from last night, when we were on the bus. What were we wearing was the main part of our uniform, and it was taken with our makeup still on. We just performed in the [small] gym and went back to the buses, and I asked (always ask before you take photos with your friends) to take a photo with them in our makeup for my profile. WE HAD GLITTER ON OUR FACES!! I think that's enough for now. Now, for my birthday with the guard and CNS!
