"Huke Lemmings," I screamed, slamming open the door to my next door neighbors, the Hemmings. Of course they were like my second family, so it was acceptable.
Especially on this circumstance.
"Asia! What are you doing here? Is everything alright?" Liz came around the corner, exiting the office. The office; One of Luke's many thinking spots.
"Where's Luke?" I asked with an worried expression.
"Upstairs. In his room, did he do something?"
"...I don't know yet." My voice cracked.
My emotions were beyond being on a high. Last night, Luke and I got into a big, stupid fight. It was so big I never expected to be forgiven for what I had done.
Once I fell asleep after crying for many hours, I woke up to my phone going off. It was a spam of text messages from Luke.
I replied as soon as I could form a coherent sentence, but I never got a reply back.
It's either that he's gone, or just gone from my life.
I took the last step as I reached Luke's door, taking a breath, I tried to remember what was so damn important that I lose my best friend.
