When I took Darcy for a walk round the following morning,I saw the same man walking down the road that had stared after Us last night,I decided to carry on walking and ignore him,he may just be walking towards the shop,but he wasn't.he had stopped and was looking into the yard at Darcy who was now looking at me lovingly and trotting around in aware that the man was there,she stood still sniffing the air for a second and then saw the man and a soft growl came from the back of her throat,I stared back at the man"want anything" I asked bravely "n-no I was just looking at your dog" he said as he got up and walked down the road whistling,Darcy was still growling quietly "shh he's gone now,it's ok"I reassured her.but she didn't calm down,in fact she became more anxious.i tried to get her to come inside but she wasn't having any of it,she refused to move.i went inside to tell mum and she came into the porch with me.we both froze to the spot in fear and shock and disbelief.there was the man creeping into our yard towards Darcy who was sat growling.mum told me to stay down and watch.he stroked her and fed her biscuits,we thought he was just being friendly so went outside,he ran out of the yard really fast then! Nearly as fast as Usain bolt.but he had left one thing.his phone.
It was wrong for me and mum to do this,we looked through his messages.but now I'm actually really glad we did,because without reading them messages,Darcy could of been stolen!! These are the messages(the mans name is Tj)

George-what location

George-have you got it,we need more dogs
Tj-no,it belongs to a farm,it hangs around with this girl,I think that's her owner.
George-how are you going to get hold of it?
Tj-I don't know yet,I'm going to get it used to me and then take it when the owners aren't around.
George-well hurry up mate,this dog sounds like it's going to make us a lot of money.
Me and mum took the phone to the police immediately and brought Darcy with us just in case the man came back,of course he did! He was in our yard looking for her just as the police arrived for an interview with us,the man was taken away by the police and we didn't see him again and he wasn't in the camp site anymore,
