After dad had shooed the man away,he didn't come back for a few days,but as I was walking Darcy down the road,I spotted him walking behind me slowly and keeping his eye on Darcy who was getting rather anxious "very nice dog you've got there" I heard him say "does she like biscuits" he asked "yeah but she's been fed" I lied nervously "one won't harm her will it?" He demanded as he gave Darcy the biscuit,she ate it and she even let him stroke her and make a massive fuss of her,I still didn't trust the man though.i took Darcy into the field with the sheep and cows in and let her off the lead,she ran around stretching her legs and jumping over branches and logs,small streams and thick bunches of grass.when she runs and jumps it makes me feel free,like there's nothing to worry about,just me and her.and only me and her.she makes me feel proud,proud that she's my dog,since she came here she's already learnt agility and knows her surroundings plus she's already been to one show,she's coming along quite well if you ask me.i saw the man watching Darcy,he was on the phone,I gulped and walked past him nervously remembering what Tj had done,planning to steal Darcy.im not letting Darcy be stolen,she's my dog not theirs.they want a dog then they should go get one themselves not steal other peoples beloved pets.
The following few days were pretty much the same,I'd get up early,walk Darcy.go back home eat breakfast then train or play Darcy for the rest of the day,then I'd go and either walk her around the field or into the village.it was the last two evenings that I saw the man with another person,a person with black leather gloves and a black hoodie that covered his dirty face,he always wore the same heavy boots and dirty oily trousers and he and this other man who I found out was called jack would stand there watching Darcy playing,running or being walked to and from the field.it was tonight tat they made a move.darcy had a route she always took,down the hill,towards the far left corner of the field and jump the log and branches of the collapsed Apple Tree,the. Go down towards the gate and take a pause to drink from the stream then run round the field herding the sheep and then finally come back to me.tonight I saw Darcy get called over by the men,they stroked her and petted her,I ran and hid behind a bush,I could hear them whispering. "Yeah I found her,the owners she's that she's a right show winner and never fails,amazing coat and excellent in the ring they said"jack boasted,"yeah so...when do you want to have her,this un will make you a lot of profit my Danny,be lucky that I found that dog for you cannot" I heard them whispering "well let's decide that later,this DOG needs to go back to her owner" he smirked as he pushed Darcy away,I grabbed her lead and clipped it onto her harness and ran home in aware that two men were following me with big smirks on their faces as they decided on their plan.
