Rosie came over and picked me up harshly by my shoulder,

"come on you need to get cleaned up" she looked at me with disgust in her eyes.

Once upstairs I could see that it was dark, the clock on the wall said it was half 7, I could hear rain drops drumming on the window.

"have your shower, you sure as hell need it" she said holding her nose

"and your clothes should be on your bed" she added.

I walked into the bathroom,it was so bright in there compared to the room I was locked in and took my clothes off. I didn't want to look at myself, I was sure I had probably run out of tears but I wasn't ready to see what I looked like. Dried blood and fresh scabs washed away as I tried to clean my self from the memories of the last few days. Once finished I wrapped the massive cotton towel around me and went to my room. I sat on the bed, I had to find a way to get out of here.

I read of Nalani, the first time Mel mentioned him was when they had their first ritual with me. They said that he would be so proud of them and that he would be with them soon.

Nalani was this great wizard that had turned to black magic, The Council had banished him from their society until he became a threat to them, since they couldn't kill him they buried him in a cave somewhere keeping him their prisoner. Amazing what you could learn from google of your a ten year old being used as a blood sacrifice and this Nalani chap keeps getting mentioned.

Back to my room I was getting cold, I looked at the purple dress on my bed. It was cute it had a bow on the side and it looked to be a tight fit. I grabbed underwear and put it on and then placed the dress over my wet hair, I was right it was tight.

Pacing up and down my room I was wondering what I could do to get help from Aoife or Josh. Mel had my phone and I am pretty sure they had texted me.

Wait I thought I had a spare phone I hid from her. Anytime she grounded me and took my phone away I would take that and listen to music on it. It was my mother's old phone and it still had pictures of her. I quickly ran to my bed stand and searched the cupboards, I couldn't remember where I had hidden it. After what felt like two hours I found it in one of my un opened boxes.

Praying there was credit on it I dialled the only number I knew. After back and forward texting from him I had memorised his number, dialling it I prayed he would pick up, it rang and rang.

<the number you are calling is not accessible at the moment please try again later>

the monotone voice said.

I tried again, my hand shaking as I held the phone to my ear.

<hello?> I quietly said

<Lia how are you? Where have you been? I have been worried sick about you!>

<Josh listen to me I can't stay on for too long. I need you to pay attention to what I'm about to say. I need you to come here in about 20 minutes and knock on my front door and pick me up ok?>

<Yes of course I'll be there right now>

<No! Listen to me in twenty minutes okay?> I silently yelled

<okay, twenty minutes> he said sounding defeated

<Lia are you ok?, you don't sounds too good>

<I'll be fine, I have to go...please don't forget twenty minutes>

I heard him say something but hanged up as footsteps were approaching I hid the phone and pretended to be working on my hair.
