Great Begininng

A pounding woke me up from a dreamless sleep

"Lia wake up or we are going to be late" Aoife's voice boomed in.

Once I opened my eyes I couldn't recognise where I was but quickly realized the beautiful room was in the pack house. I pulled myself up and noticed the uniform spread across the love seat and some underwear there too.

"Are you up?" Aoife stuck her head in

"Yes mother" I teased her

"Okay then have your shower and come down for breakfast Liam's driving and we are leaving in thirty minutes babes."

"Okay"

Breakfast was amazing Grandma Ella had pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon and I had mine with lots of coffee to get me ready for the day. We walked to the car and the lover birds talked about some upcoming pack event Aoife wasn't looking forward to.

"Lia?"

"Yes?"

"We still need to finish our English project so we'll do that while the boys have their morning football training"

"Sounds good to me" I smiled it seemed so long ago that I figured out about my true heritage of being a wolf and I still couldn't believe it maybe that's the reason why I didn't want to shift anymore because I was afraid of what it all meant. When we got to the school we made our way to the library and found Ruby slumped over some books looking totally lost.

"Where is Ezra?" Aoife asked her

"He needed to deal with some family stuff so his home he'll be in later though"

"Is Ezra your mate?" I asked her since it was annoying me because last night I saw them being all coupled up when we were watching the movie and I wanted to ask without people around.

"Yes he is" she blushed

"You guys look cute together"

"Thank you"

"So I was thinking since we can't really write about us being wolves what we can do is say it's a legend that has been in this area of town and write about the legend itself and how it affected our family and how it affects us now." Ruby said in relation to the project

"It's a great idea" I replied with Aoife nodding in agreement.

For the next hour we sat and worked on the project with individual work being assigned within our group if the boys thought the girls were going to do it all they had something else coming at them.There was approximately two weeks left before we had to hand in the finished product and I was happy doing work unlike the others. School work was the only thing that had remained constant in my life and now more than ever I wanted to push myself to the limit and achieve the final grades.

"We should get going class starts in five" Ruby said and we started to pack up.

The rest of the day went by without any drama, I had seen Rosie around and she had giving me hateful glances but I had successfully ignored her and Jake even though they were in most of my classes. I was starving once lunch time rolled in I got a sub and chips, I made my way to our table and noticed Jake and Rosie sitting next to each other.

"I can't believe his still with her after what she and her mother did to you" Aoife said

"Well you cant expect people to just stop living their life's because of her" Rachel said looking at me with disgust in her eyes

"Rachel!" Aoife screamed

"It's okay, she's saying the truth Jake can date who ever he wants him and I have nothing to did with each other" I reassured her but she still sent a look at Rachel and she responded by shrugging her shoulders. I didn't know what I had done to Rachel that she hated me I could see it in her eyes anytime she looked at me it was with disgust. I could feel a gaze on my back and when I turned I met a pair of royal eyes gazing at me. My wolf was leaping of excitement it felt like I was melting into something else, my hands were clammy and my hear was pounding on my chest. It felt as if time had stopped and it was just him and I in the universe but the magic was broken when he shifted his gaze to Rosie. I felt so depressed but I wasn't going to let them bother me.
