Pansy's POV
It was Friday night in the Slytherin common room, y/n and I were hanging out in our dorm. We've gotten a lot closer since school started, she's my rock, kinda keeps me sane. She is laying on her bed doodling flowers on the side of her Transfiguration notes as she studies.
"Hey, are you going to the game tomorrow?" I asked, hoping she'd want to go together.
"I mean, if you want to go together, then sure" she replied smiling back at me. Her smile could light a room, she's the best friend someone could have. Understanding and sweet, and we share a dorm.
"Oh my Merlin! You have to let me pick out your outfit! You are going to look so good" I exclaimed excitedly. I ran over to the closet and pulled out a pair of blue ripped jeans and a Slytherin cardigan. I paired it with my black heeled boots.
"Pansy that is so cute, but I don't know do you think it's even going to look good on me? You should wear it" Y/n said, looking at me skeptically.
"No way, this outfit was literally made for you! You are wearing it and you will look amazing." I tried to convince her.
"Fineeee, soooooo what do you want to do. I'm so sick of studying." She whined
I shrugged my shoulders and next thing I knew, she threw a pillow at me. I got off my bed with my pillow and started whacking her shoulder, which sort of turned into a whole blown out pillow fight. We both fell laughing after 20 minutes. Soon after, she fell asleep on her bed, so I turned out the light and went to bed myself.Y/n's POV
Beep. Beep. Beeep. Beeeep.
"Oh my god, stoppppppppp. It's too early for this." I moaned at my alarm clock while hitting it, hoping it would stop. It didn't stop, so I just decided to get up. I got dressed into the outfit Pansy laid out for me, surprisingly I looked pretty good. I rushed to put my mascara on, I didn't want to be late for breakfast.
I met Pansy in the common room, and we walked to breakfast together. Draco smiled at me as I sat down. He was already in his quidditch jersey, ready to beat Ravenclaw's asses. I put some fluffy Belgian waffles on my plate with some strawberries. The food from the great hall was always so good, better than at home at least. We all wished Draco good luck before he got up to leave, and then watched as he exited the hall. Pansy and I finished our breakfast and decided to start walking down to the pitch with everyone else.
We found seats in the front of the Slytherin stands, patiently waiting for the game to begin. Pansy pulled out her camera, and snapped a quick photo of us. She shook the picture as it developed, then slid it into her bag.
"You know, memories?" She replied to my confused look.
"Oh, we should hang it on our wall!" I exclaimed.
The game started, I stared at Draco while he sat in the sky, looking for the golden snitch. Just then he darts down towards the Hufflepuff stands; he must have found it you thought to yourself. Ravenclaw was scoring on us pretty badly, they were leading by 20 points. Draco and the Ravenclaw seeker were gaining on the snitch, constantly ramming into each other to knock the other off their broom. Draco reached his arm out grasping for the snitch, when the Ravenclaw seeker rammed into him once more, causing him to fall from his broom, only holding on by one of his hands. The crowd gasped as we watched him dangle from his broom, trying to get back up. Miraculously, he pulled himself back up onto his broom and shot towards the Ravenclaw seeker once more. He cut the boy off, and caught the snitch in his hand, waving it in the air.
"Slytherin wins! 140-160!" The announcer commentated proudly and excitedly.
The Slytherin house erupted into cheer as the team descended onto the ground. It was so loud you couldn't even hear your own cheers. After 15 minutes or so of celebration, the Slytherins started filling out of the stands, heading back toward the castle. I caught a glimpse of Draco walking into the locker room, before stopping and deciding to wait for him before heading back.
"Hey Pansy, you go ahead without me I'll meet you back at the common room" I shouted towards her.
"Alright I'll see you back there" Pansy replied with a smirk on her face. It's as if she knew I was going to stay back and wait for Draco to finish changing to walk back with him. I stood up against the trophy wall outside of the quidditch pitch waiting for him to come out.
Draco's POV
I finished changing in the locker room nonchalantly, putting my uniform back into its rightful place in my locker. The game was so close, but I managed. If I wouldn't have known everyone was depending on me, I probably wouldn't have caught the snitch. While I was dangling all I could think about is how disappointed everyone would be, or rather how worried y/n would have been. I walked out of the locker room, and rounded the corner going out of the quidditch pitch, and there stood y/n smiling at me. She ran up to me and pulled me into a hug.
"Draco! I was so worried, but you did so amazing!" She shouted gleefully. While she hugged me I smelled the scent of pumpkin spice and vanilla, I hugged her back tightly.
"Thanks y/n, it was a really close game, but I'm glad we pulled through." I replied, hoping she wouldn't sense the slight blush on my face. She was so delightful to be around, I just couldn't help it. We started toward the castle, taking our time as usual. She talked about her night with Pansy and how she thinks she did really well on our charms test. As she spoke I looked at her cute outfit, it suited her so well. The cardigan looked soft and comfortable, it brought out her every movement. Before I knew it we were back at the dorm, as we approached the door we could hear commotion going on inside the common room. As soon as we enter there was music blaring and food and drinks out everywhere. I assume it was a party to celebrate the close Slytherin win today.
"What is going on?" Y/n asked confused.
"Slytherin house party, haven't you heard about them?" I respond questioningly.
"No, I haven't really ever been to a party before, my mom is pretty strict..." she responded hesitantly.
"You've never been to a party?!? Oh you are going to have so much fun. Wait til' my father hears about this" I said surprised.
"Ummm, are you sure about this Draco?" Y/n stutters.
"Positive" I assure her. I will make sure she has the most fun possible tonight. I can't believe she has never been to a party, I've been to plenty, courteously of my parents.
Y/n's POV
Draco drags me over to the drink table, putting some butter beer into a cup and handing it to, then pouring one for himself. We went and sat on the common room couch, as we enjoyed the excitement and music around us. I had never been invited to a party before, let alone been to one. I overheard groups of people talking about their crushes and their other juicy secrets. It was quite entertaining to see the stupid things the older years would pull as the night went on. Over 80% of them were absolutely wasted and getting louder by the second. Draco and I watched as Pansy and Blaise chatted over by the windows, I admit, they would be really cute together one day.
"What do you think they are talking about? I've never seen Parkinson smile like that before." Draco said smugly.
"I have no idea, but I think she might have a crush," I giggled in response "maybe they are having a heart to heart?"
Before Draco got the chance to answer, the common room down swung open and everyone fell silent. There stood professor Snape looking more pissed than ever.
"What is going on in here? Get to your respective rooms...now" Snape demanded. We all looked at each other before standing up and parting ways to our dorms, I caught one last glimpse of Draco before he went up the stairs to the boys dormitories.
I plopped onto my bed, staring at the roof of my bed. Pansy walked in and with a scoff sat down. She looked really disappointed. Almost as if she had seen a puppy ran over.
"Pansy, what's wrong?" I asked with worry in my voice.
"It's nothing, just Snape crashing the party is all. I was having a good time before he came and ruined it." Pansy responded annoyed.
She promptly laid down on her bed and pulled the curtains; she must have been pretty upset. I wonder if it had something to do with Blaise, but even if it did, there was nothing I could do for her, not now at least. I swiftly decided to dress into my pajamas and lay down on my bed as well, I said goodnight to Pansy before pulling the curtains closed. As I drifted to sleep, all I could think about was Draco's crystal blue eyes.
