Chapter 12

Chrysalis' POV

//July 29, 2017. My Room, Anime High, 1:23 PM//

I wake up to pounding on my door. I sat up lazily. I force myself to walk like a zombie towards the door. Groaning, I open it...

To find a dove in my face.

I shriek in panic as the dove lands on a blue top hat. Wait! I'd recognize that hat anywhere!

"I hear you're new here," says a voice. I didn't recognize it, most likely since all of Ace Attorney is in subtitles...

"Yeah," I reply, trying to play it cool. "I'm Chrysalis."

"I'm Trucy. Do you want to meet my friends?" I nod. AH GOSH IM STANDING IN FRONT OF TRUCY WRIGHT!!!!!

"Sure." Trucy takes the dove off of her hat and shoves it into her magic panties.

"Sorry about the dove. I was practicing my magic tricks, but the dove got overly eager to come in here," Trucy apologizes. She then grabs my hand and yanks me to her room.

//July 20, 2017. Trucy's Room, Anime High, 1:31 PM//

Trucy pushes me down onto her bed next to a few girls. One I recognize as PEARLY FEY AH but the others I don't know. Oh, EMA SKYE IS HERE TOO!!

There are two others. One has black hair put up in a bun and kind eyes. The other also has black hair, but hers is in a low ponytail. Wait, isn't this how my head canon older Maya and Kay look...?

"I'm Kay and this is Maya," the second one says. I WAS RIGHT, HA!!

"Nice to meet you," I say.

"This is Pearl and Ema," Trucy grins. "Girls, this is Chrysalis. She's new here."

"Hey, wasn't Athena supposed to be here too?" Pearl asks in a sweet, fairy-like voice.

"HERE I AM!!"

I jump as a red head shows up in the doorway. "There you are!" Trucy smiles. "I was beginning to think you weren't going to show!"

The red-head held out her hand. "Athena Cykes, nice to meet you!"

"I'm Chrysalis. Nice to meet you too, Athena."

After the intros were done, we just talk for a while. Talk about magic tricks at the Wonder Bar. Talk about cases Phoenix has taken on. Talk about when the Phantom got shot. Talk about how happy we all were when the Phantom got shot.

Then Trucy jumps up. "Hey! Do you guys want to go to the Wonder Bar? I perform tonight, and I think it would be fun to just hang out."

I nod, Athena peace signs, Pearly smiles, and Maya and Kay had one thought on their minds: burgers. Ema pulls out her Snackoos and eats one, nodding furiously. I bet they serve chocolate at the Wonder Bar, and that's what convinced the detective.

"Then why are we still here?! If we're going, then let's go already!"Maya exclaims.

"I bet I can beat you all to the front door of the school!" Kay smirks. I wouldn't be surprised if she set up some thief traps or something to slow us down. I laughed at the thought. Classic Kay.

At Kay's prompt for a race, we all got up. "Ready," the thief began, crouching slightly.

"Set," Maya says competitively.

Trucy's voice hit my ears. "GO!"
