Sunghoon || Cafe boy ✓

Y/N P.O.V.

i was going down the street towards the library, which was on the end of the street. IT was a very shiny day, but with cold breeze, the sun was shining as always and the road was unoccupied than usual. Today is sunday, so it was kind of expected. The atmosphere was comfortable.

I almost reached the library when I saw one board infront of it. "construction work going on. DO NOT PASS THIS LINE" it said.

I sighed to myself cause library was the only place where I used to find "peace".

I thought of returning home, when I saw this newly opened cafe on the opposite side of the road. The cafe look was really aesthetic type. The outside look was really attractive tho... maybe because it's new?

I crossed the road and entered the cafe. The door had this bell type of thing, which was kinda cute.

The interior of the cafe was really beautiful, different type of portrait were placed on the walls. Every table had a vase with different types of flowers and there was a section for some college students too. I went to that section and sat on the fourth table, which was kinda attached with the wall. Infront of me was the transparent glass where I could see the outside.

"Hello mam, what would you like to order?" a girl with blonde hair with bangs, with a cap on her head and a apron around her waist asked me. She was cute tho.

"umm... iced tea would be fine for me." I said and smiled.

"thank you for ordering mam, your order will be here in 15 minutes." she bowed to me and left.

The atmosphere was really good in the cafe.

I was admiring the cafe until I heard the sound of the bell.

I moved my gaze towards the doot.

It was a boy, with an over-sized shirt and with sweatpants

He had fluffy hairs. Things I notice first one someone. I don't know why, I just do-

He went to order his drink/food first and then took a seat infront of the table of mine. I didn't know that I've been staring at him like a creep. He looked at me, and the moment we made eye contact, I was embarrassed. Embarrassed of being caught on staring at someone like that .

Feeling embarrassed I moved my gaze on my table. "DAMNN BROOO NO" I said to myself. I scolded myself for being a creep.

Sighing to myself... I took my bag and took out one of the novel to read.

"Here mam, here's your order" the same girl who came earlier to take my order came with the iced tea. "Thank you" i said and took the iced tea. She bowed to me and went to her place. I took one sip and it was really good. I was reading the book until I felt someone's gaze on me. I looked up and saw that guy staring at me.

He gestured me about something. I arched my eyebrows and started touching my cheeks, thinking something was stuck there... He face palmed himself and stood up. He walked to me and said, "your lips have some uh... Yk-" i touched my lips and realised my lip balm was messed up.

"Oh shit-" i said as i started removing it with the tissue paper. Embarrassing lmao

"Cute" he said while watching me panick. He took the chair infront of mine and asked, "oh so you like reading books?"

Is he interested in me...????? I shook my head as a no. "I m not a novel lover, it's just someone suggested me this book, so thought of giving it a try you know." I said trying to forget what just happened.

"Oh.." he said. "So uhh.... You never tried reading novels....?"

"I was never into novels so never gave it a try." I said.

"Oh I see... I've seen you in the library sometimes tho." I said.

"Ooh...? But I've never seen you there, you should've approached me if you wanted to you know...?" He said.

"Well, yeah i thought of approaching but since you've rejected a lot of girls confessions, i thought of not approaching you." I said as he laughed. Beautiful.

"They're just some normie people in whom I m not interested. You know." He said .

I was about to say something when his phone rang.

"Hello?.... Yes?.... Oh hey.... Yeah?... Right now?.... Oh ok, coming.... Yeah thanks for informing.... Yeah sure, bye~" he said and cut the call.

"Umm... M sorry but something came up..." He said apologitecally.

"Hey it's ok... I'll be back, have to pay for my drink you know." I said and went to the reception. I payed for my iced tea and went back to see him standing.

"It was nice meeting you park Y/n." He said as he took out his hand for a handshake.

I took the hand and said, "it was nice meeting you too Sunghoon, let's meet in the library tomorrow?" I said and smiled.

"Sure" he smiled and took his bag and went away.

I smiled to myself and sat on the chair. I opened the book when I saw a note sticking out of it. "------------- is my number... Add it, might need to call me for picking you up ;)" i smiled to myself and looked outside of the glass

He was there on his bike already staring at me. He smiled and signalled me to call him soon.

That smile had my heart. And today was the day i made a new friend.
