Jungwon || Confession ✓

I stepped out of my house after taking a good nap....

Yesterday was a very hectic day. Our school had this function for those who passed out, and all the work had to be done by us. Like all the decorations, food arrangement, seat and benches, confetti etc...

The work didn't bother me but someone did. Ella. Jungwon's 'childhood' friend.

I mean it should not bother me but the way he was with her the whole day??? I got it, he met her after a long time but still that doesn't mean he can ditch me- or maybe m just overthinking. I should just give myself a break from everything. It's affecting me a lot.

Suddenly my phone ranged.

I took out my phone and saw the caller ID. "JUNGWONNIE"

I took out my earpods and connected them to my phone. I answered the call.

"Hey wonie~" I said enthusiastically

"Heyyyy... Are you free right now??" he asked. It looks like he's excited about something.

I hummed in reply. "Great! I am sending you one location and meet me there as soon as possible. I want to introduce someone to you." then he hung up. I stared at my phone thinking about what was he trying to do and to whom he wanted to introduce me. His childhood friend? not interested. he knows I don't like meeting people. I sighed to myself and saw the location he sent me. it was near...

I started walking there humming a song to myself.

I reached that place and it was a newly opened restaurant!

I went inside and spotted Jungwon there. He wore the clothes which I gifted him on his 20th birthday.

I smiled at him and walked to him.

"Heyy... you came pretty fast~" he said.

"I was roaming outside to spend my time and this place is near," I said.

"ok well... Have a seat Miss." he said making me feel something. It was never like this before. From the past few months... I don't know when- but I started to grow feelings towards him. I sat down as he ordered something.

"So... To whom do you want to introduce me?" I asked getting straight to the point.

"Oh yeah... Ella, she must be here. She said she wanted to meet you. So yeah!" He said while crossing his arms on the table.

I looked outside. The weather was now good. Comfortable. More like it will rain?

I have liked rain since my childhood and JUNGWON knew it too.

"Looks like it'll rain anytime soon." I said to myself.

"Mhm. It looks like that." He said.

Suddenly his phone pinged. His smile turned into a frown.

"Uh- Ella said she can't come as the rain has started her mom won't let her go in this storm." He said and sighed.

Nice. What a good day.

"So.. do you wanna go outside?" He asked.

"Let's eat the ordered food first?" I said as he nodded.

The ordered food came. After eating we both rested for a bit.

"I know it might sound cliché but you're looking beautiful today." He said. I blushed. I tried to hide it but it was visible. He chuckled.

He stood up and took my hand.

"Let's go." He said and took me out of the restaurant.

He took me to the nearest park. The rain has already started.

He took out his earpods, connected them to his phone and gave me one side of it.

He played the song and grabbed my waist. I let him do whatever he wanted to do. I didn't complain.

The feeling was euphoric.

We both swayed for a while.

"So I have something to confess." He said.

"Go on." I said feeling excited internally.e

"So... I like you... No. I love you. I've been thinking of confessing it to you for the past few months but I didn't know how to do it. Since, I have got the courage now. I m saying it right now. And m sorry if you think that I ditched you yesterday. I actually didn't, she already had a boyfriend and she was telling me ways how to confess it to you. Idk maybe I did ditch you? I m sorry." He said.

I laughed. Cute.

"You know that you're cute right?" I said and squeezed his cheeks.

"Nahhh... Give me my answer already otherwise-" He said and stopped.

"otherwise?" I challenged. "That doesn't seem fair." He pouted.

I laughed without humour. "Hasn't anyone ever told you? Life isn't fair."

"I believe I have heard that somewhere before," he agreed dryly.

"Give me the answer..." he whined.

I laughed again. "I love u too... I was afraid you've feelings for "Ella" but it's fine now." I said and pecked him taking him aback.
