"You haven't seen your soulmate yet?" Jay asked.

I moved my head to left and right. He sighed. "You're so unlucky." He teased me making me slap his arm.

"I'll find it sooner or later." I said and rolled my eyes.

Jay is being annoying lately. Since he got to know that I still haven't found my soulmate yet, he's been  teasing me since then.

My friends says when you find your soulmate, you starts seeing things in colours. My life hasn't been the same since then. In this world of black and white, some people die without even meeting their soulmate.

My life was the same. I don't know when I'll be meeting one. I sighed and walked to my seat and thought of taking a nap for a while. Since the teacher isn't coming right now, it would be the best to recharge myself.

I didn't realise but the chaos around me was not there anymore. Feeling that no one is there I woke up and looked around and saw everyone left. I looked at my watch and it was already time to leave. I took my bag and made my towards the school gate.

I was going down the stairs when I saw Jungwon.

"Hey Jungwon." I called him. He looked up and waved at me. I walked to him.

"How was your day?" He asked. I felt shy. He was my crush. Of course, who wouldn't feel shy?

"It was good." I said.
"What ab--" I was about ask how was his day when I realised something.

I looked at the wall. The colour of the walls were light blue. I looked at the stairs and they were of grey.

I widened my eyes and looked at him.

"Have you met your soulmate yet?" I asked him feeling extremely nervous.

"No b- wait." He stopped. He looked at his hands and then me.

"We are soulmates?" He asked me.

"OH MY YES" I said and hugged him. He was taken aback from my sudden move but hugged me back.

I was finally able to see the colours.

"Hey Jungwon" we heard someone jungwon.

We broke the hug and saw Jay standing there.

We walked to him.

"Woah someone is looking happy." Jay said.

"Yeah because I finally met my soulmate unlike someone." I said and eyed him.

"You... Met your soulmate?" He asked.

"Yup AND IT'S JUNGWON OH MY." I said excitedly and looked at Jungwon who was already looking at me.

"Finally..." He said and gave me his warm smile.

"Oh that's nice." Jay said.

"Hyung you also met your soulma-."

"I'll be going now. You guys enjoy." Jay said and left.

"Jay wait..." I called him but he ran away.

"What happened to him?"
"I don't know." Jungwon said.

"Hey, wanna grab something to eat?" He asked.

"Of course..." I said and we both walked to the cafe near our school.

Jay P.O.V.

I walked to my room and opened my journal. It was the only thing which could listen to me everyday anywhere.

"Today was the day I thought I'll be finally meeting her. From the day, since I met her, I realised she was my soulmate. I was happy but sometimes happiness don't last forever. It took her months but she never met her Soulmate. I realised, I was never meant to be with her. I kept waiting for that day, when she'll come running to me saying "Jay-ah you're my soulmate. I can see everything in colours now." But I guess fate dosen't really want us to be together, right? I am happy that she found her Soulmate but I know I won't be able to find my soulmate again. I guess I've to spend rest of my life like this. Like a cupid, who's always watching those lovers and thinking that it could've been them.

Thanks for colouring my life when the rest of the world was screaming black and white."

I kept my journal aside and laid down on my bed staring at the ceiling, waiting for the sleep to embrace me from this colourful yet colourless reality.
