The animal center wasn't very big. It is surrounded by trees. I enter and the first thing that comes to me, are a lot of smells. Of sweat, and the typical smell of dogs. 

"Hi, I'm here to search for a dog"

"Hey. Okey, this way please. Yesterday, arrived two new dogs. Maybe you will like them"

"Let's see"

The fist dogs that I see, are super cute. From big to small. But I don't have that feeling. 

"The dogs that I was talking about were these". The two of the are maltese. 

"Oh, they are adorable, but I would like to continue searching, please"

"But these are perfect fot yo-". He can't finish the sentence, because in a second we heard a very loud growling and barking.

"What is that?"

"That is a very aggresive dog, I don't think you will like it"

"I want to see it". I don't know, but I feel something towards that animal, like its pulling me towards him.

"Okey, this way". We start moving towards the end of the corridor, where it has more darkness than light.

"Come on, don't be a fucking asshole, and let me give you your food!"

I can't see anything. This part of the corridor is so dark that I almost fall directly towards the floor. Luck is in my side, because in the last minute I can catch my balance. I hear a whimper very loud, in the direction of the cage.

"Hey, its alright"

"Maam, do not aproach the cage, for your safety, please"

"Its alright, he won't do anything, right?". At that question, I hear a bark, like if its responding me.

"Give me a light or something please". They rush towards the reception, to give me a latern.

"Thank you. You were trying to give him food, right?"

"Yes"

"Well, can I?"

"just be very carfeul"

I ignore them and aproach him.

"Hey, are you hungry?"

He answer me by barking and moving his tail. I laugh at that. 

"Are you sure he is agressive?"

The both of them nod their heads, repeatidly. 

"Come here baby". He moves towards me and suck my hand, and I scratch the back of his head. 

"I want him"

"Are you sure maam?"

"Of course"

After doing all the papers, the two of us go to a shop to buy him all the things he need. 

Arriving at home, he starts to sniff everything and every single angle of every room.

I go to my room to change my clothes, and I find him laying in my bed. Very comfortable, may I add. 

"I see you already marked this as your territory". I scratch his belly, while smiling.

I missed having company.
