After that, grumpy returned to behave as usual. To licking my hand every moment he could or my face. A few hours passed since he didn't pay any attention to me, that I missed him. I know that, I've only had it for a few days, but he entered very quickly in my heart. 

My mobile screen lights up, notifying me that I have a notification. Its Melany.

Melany: Hi! Just wanted to let you know that James will bring his dog too. Maybe they will become friends. 

Oh. 

I don't know how to feel towards this message. Grumpy hasn't seen anyone, exept me, in all these days. So, maybe this will go well or extremely bad. 

Me: That's great. Let's see how these goes.

I move my head towards grumpy, and smile at him. He has become a very important pillar for me in a very short time. I don't know if its normal, but I like to have someone that would give anything to protect me. 

The day is very calm, with no one on the street, I can see crearly the leafs on the floor, and the clear sky. Its very beautiful. 

To grab my attention, grumpy positions himself on top of my belly, and starts licking my stomach. Memories of what happened before, comes to my mind, but I decide that for now I will let him. 

Grumpy continuous his attack on my stomach. I smile at him. 

I found this very adorable.

Since I felt sorry to move him, we stayed like that for a few more hours. Deciding that its time to move and prepare myself for my friends; I move towards the bathroom to take a shower. When I arrive, I'm about to close the door, but I found grumpy stretched out on the ground.

"You really don't want to leave me alone, huh?"

He whines at that, and puts his head in between his paws. 

"Okey, you can stay here, but only if you're a good boy"

I start to undress myself. First I start with the pants and the shirt. I move my head towards him and found out, he is looking directly at me. 

"Hey! If you want to stay here, you won't look at me, that's perverted, even if you're an animal"

I keep looking at him, and, in the end he gives up, and moves his body towards a corner. 

"That's my good boy"

I finish to undress myself, and enter the shower. I start to pass the shampoo through my hair, and then the gel all over my body. Starting with my toes to my neck. 

When I finish, I wrap a towel around my body. And, I look towards the corner where grumpy was supposed to be. But, he isn't there anymore. 

He left?

Well, now I don't have to worry about having eyes constanly watching me. When, in a second I notice a fur around my legs. I let out a small squeak. Looking down, I see grumpy circling around my legs. Like marking his territoty. Like saying what is his. 

"You made that pretty clear, baby"

He starts licking my ankles. Suddenly, a feeling of love comes to me like a blow. Am I realising that I like to be around him? That I like his company?

Yes, I do.

Maybe I won't be totally alone, after all.
