Monkey D. Luffy (Halloween Special)

Happy Halloween!! my first Halloween one shot will also be my first Luffy one shot. I'll do a few more Halloween ones. Also I'm on like episode 400 something soooo no spoilers past the point pls :) This is very long.

Modern AU

Y/n POV

"Y/n!!" I heard, I looked over and saw Luffy sprinting towards me. He tackled me into a hug as we fell onto the bed. "Shishishi hi Y/n." He giggled and kissed me. I smiled and greeted him back. "Sooooo I was THINKING that we could go to a pumpkin patch together theeennn carve pumpkins and get some food!" He yelled with a big cheeky smile.

"Okay! That sounds like fun." I said returning the smile, Luffy grabbed my hand and began dragging me out of me room. "Wait Luffy I have to change!"

We got to the pumpkin patch and Luffys eyes lit up. "WOWWW LOOK AT ALL THE PUMPKINS! LOOK AT THIS ONE ITS SO BIG!" He basically ran around in circles pointing out all the different pumpkins. I smiled at him, giving him a loving look. I love this boy so much. "Y/n why are you just standing there! Let's pick out a pumpkin!" He wailed and ran over to me, picking me up.

"I think I should get this one." He said and gestured to the literal biggest pumpkin there was. "Luffy that won't fit in the car." I said. "Oh. YOU'RE RIGHT! What about this one? It has a funny face on it." He laughed, and pointed to the one that looked like it was rotting. It did look like it had a face though. I smiled and rolled my eyes. "That ones a bit rotten, let's find a more fresh one."

We eventually found the perfect ones, and we took them to our car. "Hey there you guys!" We heard a familiar voice.  I looked back and saw Nami and the rest of our crew. "Y/n my dear!" Sanji yelled, doing his weird dance whenever he sees a girl. "Woah the whole gang is here!" Luffy laughed. "Yea we all just found each other here and then we saw you! We were gonna go eat at the pumpkin patch Cafe wanna join?" Robin asked. "FOOD!" Luffy yelled and ran around in a circle. "I think that's your answer." I said and we all walked to the cafe together. I sat in between Nami and Luffy and we all talked.

It felt nice being with the entire group again, we've all been so busy. We haven't had much time to hang out as an entire group. Luffy practically ordered the entire menu. Once we all ate it was getting a bit late. "Is anyone doing anything tomorrow?" I asked. Everyone shook their heads. "Good how about we all come to my house and we carve our pumpkins all together and trick or treat, like old times." I smiled. "You wanna trick or treat? Come on were not kids anymore." Zoro laughed. "Oh please, first of all it's FREE CANDY. And second it's fun!" I explained and he had nothing else to say.

Everyone got super excited and agreed. Exhaustion started taking over and I rested my head on Luffy's shoulder. He looked down and smiled, wrapping his arm around me and kissed my forehead.

"Y/n is tired I think we should be getting home." Luffy said, surprisingly maturely. "We should all get home, the cafe is closing soon." Robin said. We said our goodbyes and Luffy guided me to the car and we made our way home.

"Can we watch Halloween movies! I'll make some hot chocolate." I said with a big smile as we walked into our shared apartment. Luffy smiled back and went to go grab a bunch of pillows and blankets while I made hot chocolate. I was pretty sleepy but the smell of the warm hot chocolate woke me up a bit. I brought the two mugs to the bedroom where Luffy was already laying down on his side, waiting for me. He put his arms out motioning towards the hot chocolate. "It's hot so don't touch the si-" I was cut off by Luffy yelling. "HOT! IT'S HOT!" He literary grabbed the whole thing from the side.

I laughed a bit. "I tried to tell you. Just grab it by the handle." I said and shrugged, blowing into my cup. "You didn't tell me fast enough." He pouted and blew on his hand. "Awe you poor thing, you want me to kiss it better?" I teased. "Yes." He said with a cheeky smile and laughed, holding his hand out in front of me. "You big baby." I said before grabbing his hand and kissing the palm of it.
