I haven't slept good in like 4 weeks so have an insomnia reader lmao.

Y/n's POV

I tossed and turned in the bed not being able to sleep. I looked over to the clock and read 2:15 am. Which wasn't that late considering I usually stayed up til about 5 or 6. I groaned as I shoved a pillow in my face, then got up and put some slippers on.

 Maybe some warm tea will help...? Going into the cupboards and grabbing a tea bag then poured water into a kettle (No Todoroki jokes T_T) and put it on the stove. 

I hopped on the counter and went on my phone as I waited. I heard footsteps and looked up from my phone. "What are you doing awake dumb ass? It's like... 2 am. Is it your dumb insomnia?" My boyfriend, Bakugo grumbled and I smiled. 

"Why are you awake? What happened to your strict sleeping schedule?" I teased knowing he'd get mad. "Tch- shut up. I couldn't sleep I think you gave your stupid insomnia to me." He said and I laughed. "Insomnia can't spread. It's not even a disease it's a condition-" I said but Bakugo cut me off.

"Yea yea, it's a condition that makes it hard to fall and stay asleep, you tell me a million times a day." He said and walked up to me, grabbing my hips and looked me in the eyes. "I don't tell you that often." I mumbled as I looked away, getting flustered. 

The kettle started to wheeze and I hopped off the counter and turned off the stove. "Do you want some?" I asked as I went into the cupboard to get a mug. "Sure. Does it even help?" He asked. "It might for you but it probably won't for me." I sighed. He laughed a bit but looked at me with a bit of sympathy. 

I poured the tea in the mugs I grabbed the tea bags and put them in the mug. Then added some other things. (However you like ur tea ig.) "Here." I said and handed him the mug. "Thank you." He said and took it. 

We stayed in the kitchen, in comfortable silence until we were both done. "Come on we should get to bed." He said and picked me up, I wrapped my legs around him and and grabbed my thighs. As I rested my head on his shoulder I lightly kissed his neck making him let a a small laugh but quickly went back to his angry face. 

He laid down and gently placed me on top of him. "Now kick your insomnia in the ass and sleep." He said, wrapping one arm around my waist and the other around my neck. I wrapped both arms around his waist and laid on his chest trying to get comfy. 

I was hoping the mix on tea, cuddling, Bakugo's heartbeat and his warm hands rubbing my back would put me to sleep, but it still wasn't enough to put me to sleep. It's now 3:43 and i'm wide awake. Luckily it's the weekend. I sighed and grabbed my phone off the nightstand. About 30 minutes passed of me being on my phone and I completely gave up on sleeping. 

"What are you doing?" I heard Bakugo grumble and shifted over to me. "I thought I told you to sleep." He said and took my phone, putting it on the night stand and pulled me into him. "Sorry..." I mumbled. "You don't have to apologize." He sighed. "I know it's a condition, it's not your fault. I know you just wanna sleep but you can't." He said and kissed my forehead. I nodded and dug my face into his neck. 

"I'm not going to sleep until you do." He said and began playing with my hair. "Thank you Bakugo." I mumbled. "Hah? For what dumb ass." He asked. "For caring enough to try and help me sleep, I know it must be hard. Considering I've been trying it myself since I could remember." I explained.
"I-it's not like that! I just don't want you to be tired when you're fighting villains... that's all." He said. "Okay Bakugo." I laughed. 

"Whatever. Just... get some rest." He said. "And don't go on your phone." I smiled and tried my hardest to sleep so Bakugo wouldn't be awake too long. Thankfully it worked and I successfully dozed off.

Bakugo's POV

I watched as Y/n finally fell asleep, I smiled and kissed her forehead lightly. "Goodnight baby." I whispered, even if she couldn't hear me. I hugged her and eventually fell asleep myself.

I woke up from the sunlight in my face, temporarily blinding me. I looked down to see Y/n soflty snoring, still out cold. Our legs tangled together and her arms fully wrapped around me. Good thing there's no classes today, I don't know if I would be able to wake her up. 

I brushed the hair out of her face and kissed her forehead. I hate to admit it... but I have a small soft spot for her. Tell anyone I'll kill you.
