Sorry I have been gone for so long a lot has happened in the past few months. uhm I gotta bf and actually wrote this to tell you then he broke up with me a couple weeks ago🥲 uhm I'm not gonna post the tea lol. Also school started back up a month ago. I'm gonna try to post more and find more motivation. I'm in a sad mood but this was pre written before the break up so it's happy 🧍

Iwazumi's Pov

I glanced at her as she walked down the hall laughing with her friends. She looked over and we locked eyes. She smiled and waved, I blushed and waved back. "Hold on you guys." She told her friends and began making her way over. I internally panicked but tried to keep cool on the outside.

If you couldn't tell already I have a big crush on her. "Hi Iwazumi uh do you have anything to do tonight?" She asked and smiled going into her back and taking out a stack of papers. "Uh besides volleyball practice no." I replied. "Okay well if you have time tonight it's the basketball teams championship competition and it would be great if you could come." She said with an adorable smile and handed me a poster with the time and place of her game.

"Okay i'll try to make it." I said and tried to give a big smile back. We said good bye and she went back to her friends. Her friends looked over to me and said something to her I couldn't hear, whatever it was it made her blush really hard and hide her face. She peaked over to me through her fingers and when we locked eyes she quickly looked away.

"Ooooo does Iwa-chan have a little crush?" I heard the annoying voice of shittykawa say. I shut my locker and rolled my eyes at him, beginning to walk to my next class. "Hey don't ignore me." He followed after me and I took out the poster Y/n gave me. "What's this?" Oikawa said and took it out of my hands. "Give that back shittykawa."

"Are you gonna go?" He asked. "Probably." I shrugged. "But it starts at 6:30. Practice ends at around 6:45, that's not even including cleaning up after. You're not gonna miss half of practice for a girl are you?" He said looking over at me. "Maybe I'll just make you clean everything up." I huffed and snatched the poster back. "Whaaatt Iwa-chan that's so mean!" He whined. I walked into class and sat down.

~Time Skip~

It was almost the end of volley practice and Y/n's basketball game was about to start. "Sooooo are you gonna go?" I turned to see oikawa with some weird look on his face. "Shut up. It's the middle of practice."

"Oooo you gotta date?" Matsukawa said. "No-" "Yes he doessss. You know Y/n? The one girl on the girls basketball team?" Matsukawas mouth opened in shock. "Damn Iwa shes  kinda hot. I didn't know you were into tall girls." He laughed. I rolled me eyes and looked away.

"So why aren't you going to this date huh?" He asked. "It's not even a date she asked me to go to her game."

"So go!" He told me. "I can't we still have practice." I said and took a drink of my water. "Just go Oikawa and I will cover for you." I sighed and thought about it. She might not like me if I don't go. "Ugh fine. But you guys better really cover for me." I threatened. "Okay iwa Chan! Now go on! Go get that girl." I slightly smiled and nodded, and started walking out of the gym after checking that the coaches weren't looking.

I snuck into the locker room and changed then ran to the basketball gym. Luckily the championship game was at our school. The was 10 minutes in. I sat down and begun watching only to realize I know absolutely nothing about this game. I sat there pretty confused so I just stared at Y/n while she dribbled the ball, or made shots.

She looked so pretty. She looked up to the stands half time and smiled all big. She excitedly waved, I waved back and smiled almost as big as her. She ran back out.
