I was at an event for the new serie Hawkeye where my idol/Crush Hailee Steinfeld was starring in, there where a lot of fans here I was really anxious because I don't really like crowded places but i also don't like to be alone because when im alone i get stuck with my own thoughts.
Growing up i didn't have a nice childhood like most people. My dad was abusive, actually he still is to this day. He would get home drunk and would beat me and my mom but mostly me because mom had to work to feed us. And i try not to stay at home too much but if i wasn't home he would beat my sister and i don't want her to go through that so i stay home with her and if i go out i take her with me. When dad would beat her i take the beatings in her place. So yeah that has been my life for the past 10 years. My mom never wanted to tell someone about this and whenever I asked her why she would just change the subject and not talk about it, till this day I still don't know why.
Anyways my sister isn't with me today she said she was gonna go out with her friend. I told her not to go home till i was back and i hope she listens because she is stubborn as hell. She doesn't like it when i take her place when dad wants to beat her and i understand that but i just want her to have the childhood i didn't have. My sister and I are 3 years apart, me being 22 the oldest and her 19 the youngest. But here i am between strangers i don't know, it's better than home, wish it was like this every day but you can't get everything you want.

The event started like 45 minutes ago and there were some girls that asked their questions. After some time it was some girls turn I was very nervous and anxious because i've never been with so many people in one room but i just wanted to see Hailee "omg Hi it's very nice to meet you, can't believe that im here" said the girl into the microphone. "Hi Nice to meet you what's your name?" Hailee said with an angelic voice "uhm my name is Sophia and my question is how do you-" she got interrupted by my phone ringing but i ignored it "sorry" I whisperd softly "my question is how do you deal with-" She got interrupted again by my phone it was my sister what does she want now i told her that i was going at the event, what if something happend to her or mom "sorry" "it's okay you can answer it if you want" she said "Thank you" I answered the phone while walking out of the room. "Hi sis what is it did something h-" before i could finish my sentence my sister interrupted me " Y/N it's mom she got into a car accident on the way home from work, she....she didn't make it..." she said crying, thats when everything around me stopped my mom, my everything is gone. "Where are you now?" i said into the phone with teary eyes after i composed myself I found a closet and went in there crying.
Hailee POV
The girl answered her phone while walking out, she was so pretty I've never seen anyone so beautiful. While she went somwhere else I wanted to run after but I couldn't so i waited till the end of the event which there where only 10 minutes left of. Why i wanted to run after I don't know but there is just something about her special that made me want to be closer to her.
When we were done I excused myself but before i could go I was stopped by Jeremy "Where are you going?" he asked "I just need to do something real quick i will be right back don't worry" I said and went to look for the girl. As i was walking i heard crying from behind the door so i opened it and saw the girl in a corner crying. She didn't notice me at first so I started to ask her if she was okay. But she didn't notice me so i started waving my hand infront of her, she still didn't notice me so i did something that would get her attention.
I knelt down to the girl and put my hand on her shoulder at first she flinched away but after she saw that i meant no harm she let me hug her and she started sobbing more, I felt my shirt get wet but I didn't care i just want to know what happend to her. I kept ahold of her for 10 minutes while reassuring her. I pulled away from her and gave her a sympathetic look." my mom..., she is uhm....she just died" I heard the girl say. "Oh I'm so sorry, I am here to help in any way I can okay just tell me" Omg poor girl. In that moment I held her tighter wanting nothing more than just comfort her.
Y/N POV
It felt nice when someone held you or hugged you. I never really got hugs from someone, only from my mom but she isn't here anymore. I let go of Hailee and stood up ''Thank you really but i should probably go'' I said she looked at me ''of course'' I was about to open the door when Hailee called for me ''Wait!!'' I turned to look at her ''give me your phone'' I looked confused at her ''just give it okay trust me'' I opened my phone and gave it to her and she was tapping something on it okay now i was really getting confused she gave me my phone back ''what did you do'' I said ''I gave you my phone number so if you ever need anything just call me or send me a text'' she said I looked at her shocked ''thank you, I should get going my sister is probably waiting for me'' I said ''sorry again for your loss'' ''thank you'' I said and gave her one last hug and left making my way to the hospital but first I had to call my sister again.
