Chapter 9

I was in my room trying to get some sleep in after a long day of working at the restaurant then at the shelter. when i heard my bedroom door opening i turned around seeing my father standing there with a bottle of beer in his hand while he stepped closer to my bed. I was alone in the house because mom was working late and i told her to take Emma with her because i don't want her near this man. Which unfortunately leaves me here alone with him.

"wha-what are you doing?" I said sitting up looking at him "I came here to have some fun, what else?" he said slurring his words "what-what do you mean?" I said softly as i saw him setting his beer on the ground and closing the door before coming towards me "come here" he said taking the sheets off me and putting his hand on my thigh "no please don't" i said trying to push him away but he was too strong for me.

He started pulling my clothes off "please don't please don't do this please" I begged him crying

"What i just want to have some fun, now lay still" He said putting my hands above my head

'No no this can't be happening' i tried to get out off his grip but he was to strong so i tried to scream for help "Help me! Please!" i shouted but i knew that was a bad move when he slapped me.

"Please, please get off me please im begging you" i said sobbing knowing there's nothing i can do.

"NO! Now let me have my fun with you and fill you all up" He said pushing himself inside of me making me cry out in pain.

Hailee POV:

I was woken up by someone crying, so when i opened my eyes i saw that Y/N was still in my arms but she was crying and trying to move out of my arms. She must be having a nightmare "please, please get off me please im begging you" she said crying.

"Y/N honey, wake up your having a nightmare" I said putting some hair out of her face while watching out for her arm.

She didn't budge so i started to shake her "Y/N come on wake up" I said while caressing her cheek.

In a blink of an eye she gasped sitting up with sweat on her face "Hey hey it's okay, it's okay you're safe" I reassuerd her giving her space so she knows that im here to help.

"You okay?" I asked since she was still in her thoughts, she just nodded "yeah sorry for waking you up" she whisperd softly fidgetting with her hand. "Do you want to go back to sleep, or do you want me to get you some water?" I spoke softly to not startle her.

"Uhm no I'll just try to go back to sleep" she mumbeld turning on her side with her back facing me, i didn't really know what to do so i just got out of bed and still got her some water if she needed it later. When i got back i let her have her space and if she needed me i will be here for her.

I thought she went back to sleep but here she is trying to hold back her sobs, i gently rubbed her back to let her know that i am here for her. She turned around and looked at me with a face full of tears, "come here" I said opening my arms for her, she hesitated first but then she jumped in my arms "it's okay let it out, I'm here, you're safe now" just as I finished my sentence she broke down.

That night I just held her till she fell back asleep, which she did after an hour of crying.

Time skip (in the morning)

I woke up later that morning with Y/N cuddled up to me with her hand tightly wrapped around me afraid that i would disappear, I thought i would let her sleep in while i go make her breakfast in bed. So i slowly got out of her hold and got out of bed but not leaving without giving her a kiss.
