Chapter 4

Y/N POV

After a good sleep i woke up and saw Emma still sleeping peacefully in the pull-out bed, I was grateful to have a sister like her in my life it's not everyday you get to have someone like her.

I was just sitting in silence when my phone rang I saw that it was Hailee. Me and her have become close friends quickly, I mean we've talked almost everyday on the phone except yesterday cause of all what happend.

"Hello?" I answered confused as to why she is calling me, I mean not that i mind "Hi y/n i just called to check in on you and your sister, how are you guys holding up, i hope im not disturbing or anything i can call back later if you want-" I laughed at her rambling and cut her off "Hailee its fine you did not disturb us and we are fine thank you for asking, how are you?" "Im doing great i just woke up and decided to call you" she said "wait what time is it?" I asked as i didn't notice time fly by because we were probably busy here at the hospital and that's probably why Emma is still sleeping and- "Y/n you okay? " i heard on the phone "uhm yeah yeah, what time is it again?" "9:30 AM you sure you okay" she asked worried "yeah just alot on my mind right now" I said into the phone as i rubbed my forhead "what's going on, talk to me?" She said hearing the frustration in my voice "Okay how do i say this uhm, im in the hospital right now i was brought in almost a week ago, you remember when we had dinner together that's when it happend" I said nervously "WHAT, what happened are you okay is Emma okay, why didn't you tell me?" "Yes Emma is fine, i just got hurt a little thats it" I said, i wanted to lie but thats no use she is going to find out eventually so i just told her the truth well not the whole truth but you know what i mean. "How did it happen, are you okay you need me to come by, what hospital are you in?" She said rambling, which is the thing that i loved about her she is always caring doesn't matter under what circumstances. "If you want you can come by i could use some comapny right now as Emma is sleeping, and i am at (name of the hospital). And my dad happend that is how i got here" I spoke sadly thinking about him "What he put you in there? I swear to god soon he'll be the one laying in a hospital bed" she said angry "No Hailee please don't do that it will only ruin you career and i don't think you want that." I said trying to calm her down "fine for you sake i will" She said sighing "I hope you will, now when are you getting here i want to see you" I spoke not realising what i just said but she just shurgged it off and im happy that she did "I actually am already there" She said and i looked up as i saw the door opening, and there she was with her phone in her hand as she hung up.

"What how?" I asked confused "I got in the car as soon as you said you were in the hospital" she said smiling. I tried to sit up but it hurt and she rushed to my side helping me "Easy lay down your still hurt, you need anything?" "No thank you, please sit down" i gestured to the seat beside me and she sat down "so how long has she been out?" She asked as she looked at my sister who was still sleeping "since last night i think? She was here the whole time with me awake checking up on me" I said "And how are you doing? What did the doctor say?" she said as she looked at me. "Uhm i got a fractured arm, few ribs, some bruises here and there and uhm she also said that i have Epilepsy but i'll be fine don't worry" i said looking down at my hands. I looked up at her as she took ahold of my hands "its going to be okay, you are going to be okay i'll be here with you okay? But what caused it?" She asked rubbing her thumb over the back of my hand "they did some scans when i came in and said it can be caused if you have to much damage to the head like a concussion and all that. I also will have like seizures, that can be caused by to much stress or panicking. She also said that i should avoid flashing lights." I said trying not to cry.

"Hey look at me, you'll be okay im here for you, Emma is here for you, we're here okay?" She said as she lifted my chin up to look at her and she wiped my tears away "okay" i said quietly "come here" she whisperd as she pulled me in a hug, we kept ahold of each other but were soon broken off by someone groaning we pulled away and saw that it was my sister "good morning, when did you get here?" She asked as she saw Hailee "i got her 10 minutes ago i think, how are you?" "Im good just a little back pain from this little bed" we laughed as she complained "don't worry i will get disharged today and then we can go back to the hotel" i said smiling at her "Wait hotel? You guys don't have a place to stay?" Hailee asked looking at me "no not really, with what happend with mom we can't really stay with him as you see" I said gesturing to myself "you guys can stay with me if you like i have plenty of room at my house?" She said looking between me and Emma "No it's alright we don't want to be a burden to you you have your own life to get back to anyway" I said trying to turn her offer down "Nonsense you are my friend and you guys are staying with me" "Really? You would do that?" I asked genuinely "Yes of course, now lets call for the nurse and get you out of here alright" she said standing up and walking to the door to call for the nurse "you know i can just push the button you don't have go get her right?" I said smirking at her "oh, yeah of course. I knew that" she said mumbling the last part but i was still able to hear her. I just laughed at her "hey don't laugh at me" she whined "alright im sorry I won't laugh" i said smiling at her while she just looked at me. I like this, I like her.
