Nightmares invaded my dreams. Ranging from the dark room to Franklin using a spell to make me fall through the earth. Even memories from the time I was changing. Steven slipped though too, looking at me, expressionless, asking me why I didn't save him. I woke up with a jolt, gasping for air. George was on my bed, his hands on my shoulders. His white skin shone in the dark.

"You're awake," he said with relief.

"Yeah, sorry did I wake you?" I asked rubbing my eyes and turned to the clock on my bedstand. The time indicated that it was 2am.

"It's ok. I'm glad you're awake now," he smiled. I smiled back, dragging my hand through my hair until it rested at the base of my skull.

A thought crossed my mind. If George heard that I was having a nightmare, then my parents should have heard it too. Their hearing was just as good as a vampire's and my dad was a light sleeper.

"George," I asked, and he looked at me, "Where are my parents?" I swallowed hard.

"They're in bed. They were on your way to check up on you, but I sent them back. I said I'd look after you," he smiled again, the smile not reaching his eyes. I heard my mom scream in their room. It made the hairs on my neck stand on end. I wanted to stand up, but George stopped me.

"She's fine," he had his hands on my shoulders again, only this time he pushed me to the headboard. He kept me there, my door creaked open. It was so dark that not even my new night vision couldn't see through it. A figure stepped through. Or figures. First one was Franklin, he had a wicked grin on his face. Followed by Bobby, who looked emotionless. Then a tall figure stepped through. I couldn't see his face, but the blonde hair and the suit. Fear struck through me. I started to struggle against his grip.

Kicking him. He let out an oof.

"Franklin," the boss said calmly.

Next moment I was blinded by pain, my entire body felt like it was being torn apart. George stood up and walked toward Bobby. I wrapped my arms around me to try and keep myself together.

"Did you really think you could get away from us so easily?" he sounded amused. He walked toward me and knelt beside me.

"You're mine," he whispered a white smile shining through the darkness.

I woke up screaming. My heartbeat fast, I wanted to get away from them. Terror spread through my mind. My door slammed open, and arms were around me as I kicked, punched and screamed. The person held me tighter, my arms on my sides. I tried to scratch him to force him to let me go. The scent of blood invaded my nose. But his strong arms held me. I tried to lay on my side to see if that would help, it didn't, he only tightened his grip. There were hands on my ankles stopping me from kicking.

"Anna," my dad's voice roared. I looked up searching the room frantically for him, but I only saw my mom in the doorway. George was the one holding my feet. I looked back and saw a part of my dad's face.

"It's me sweetie," He whispered against the side of my head.

"It's me, calm down," he repeated. I stopped resisting, I forced my body to relax. Tears streamed down my face. I heard heavy footsteps up the stairs.

"Maam. Is everything alright? I heard an unfamiliar male voice.

"Yes. Everything is alright," my mom answered stopping the trespassers before they reached my door. "We heard screaming," another male voice said. "It's alright. It's my daughter. She woke up from a nightmare," she explained.

I heard a clicking, like a gun being clicked into a holster. "Does she normally get nightmares like this?" the first man asked.

I saw her shake her head, "No, it's the first time," she folded her arms.
