Rebecca stood against the wall, drink in her hand, as she happily watched her friends dance together on the dance floor. She was invited to dance many times by all of her friends but declined each time. Dancing really wasn't her thing, but, she was having just as much fun watching them. As she watched her friends dance and drink, the familiar friendly presence of Albert Wesker stood beside her.

"So," Rebecca said, turning her head and looking up at him. "What are you supposed to be for Halloween?"

"I'm a vampire," he replied, turning his head and looking down at her. "Isn't it obvious?" He pointed to the line of fake blood on his lip and chin.

"Well now that you mention it," Rebecca laughed. Albert faintly smiled.

"Why aren't you out there dancing with them?" Albert asked as he pointed towards Rebecca's group of friends and acquaintances.

"Dancing isn't my thing," she giggled. "I'm not very good at it. Besides, I'm having just as much fun watching them dance anyway."

"I could dance with you," Albert held out his hand towards Rebecca as he moved to stand in front of her.

"Oh please," she laughed off. "No offense, but, you really don't seem like you would be good at dancing either."

"That may be, however," Albert extended his hand even closer to Rebecca. "I would love to dance with you regardless."

Soft pink blush danced across Rebecca's cheeks. There was no way she could deny him any further. Embarrassed, Rebecca took his hand as Albert led the two of them into the middle of the dance floor. The two of them awkwardly but joyfully danced in front of each other as "Out of Control" by She Wants Revenge played. However, as the two of them danced, it felt as if the crowd of people were getting quieter and the song was getting louder.

They both locked eyes with each other. Rebecca could almost make out the colour of Albert's eyes through his sunglasses. Almost.

'This song is turning me on'

Albert took off his black leather gloves and placed them in his coat pocket. He took Rebecca's hand in his own and loosely placed the other at her waist.

'The beat is doing me in'

The crowd was completely silent and disappeared around them. The only thing they could hear besides the music was the other's breathing.

'Or maybe it's only you'

The sound of the other's breath drew their eyes to each other's slightly parted lips. Albert took in Rebecca's soft, pastel pink lipstick. Rebecca took in Albert's pale lips, slightly stained and smeared with fake blood.

'But either way, let's begin'

Albert pulled Rebecca close to him by her waist, their bodies touching together in the process. They both blushed deeply but continued their dance together without missing a step. He held onto her hand and spun her around; he grabbed onto her hand and waist as he dipped her; no matter what move he made, Rebecca hit it perfectly without missing a single beat. They were perfectly in sync with each other. The once bright and loud frat house turned into a dark abyss with only the two of them and the music.

They both figured that this is what Heaven must be like. Feeling like they were walking on air and dancing on clouds, hand in hand with an angel. Everything was peacefully quiet besides their heavy breathing and loud music. That's all they could hear, and that's all that mattered.

Both of their cheeks flushed and turned hot as Albert pulled Rebecca even closer. Her head against his chest, her arms around his shoulders, his arms around her hips – they could stay like this forever.
