The cold rain drenched the two virology students as they continued to embrace each other – as they held that steady kiss. The last thing Albert wanted was to let go of Rebecca. His Rebecca. Finally, he was able to hold her close and kiss her sweet face. Her sweet face. He shouldn't be doing this. The virus was changing him in ways he never wanted.

Albert pulled away from Rebecca, looking down at her. Despite the cold rain, her cheeks were pink and warm. Albert could feel that his were warm as well. Rebecca smiled a small, flustered smile at him. Albert wasn't sure how to interpret her expression.

"Rebecca," he said regretfully. "I am sorry."

Once again, just as Rebecca was about to speak, Albert turned around and suddenly vanished. All Rebecca could feel was a rush from some wind as he left.

--

"Oh my god, Becca!" Jill exclaimed, opening the door to her shivering friend. "You're soaked! Get in here!"

"Hey Chris," Rebecca said, stepping inside. "How are you holding up?"

"Well, I'm not dead!" Chris joked. "Though I will probably have to miss practice tomorrow." Chris sighed and slumped even farther down on Jill's bed. "Babyyyy... Valentiiiiine..."

"Chris you don't even have a broken bone," Jill said, emerging from the bathroom holding a towel. She wrapped the towel around Rebecca's shoulders as she said: "You can get up y'know."

"Yes but I like it when you get things for me," Chris replied, smiling brightly and giving her puppy dog eyes.

"Ugh," Jill sighed as Rebecca and Sheva both giggled to each other. "Fine. What is it?"

"Can you grab me my phone please?" Chris said cheerfully, pointing to his red jacket. It was a red pleather jacket that had the words "Made in Heaven" embellished on the back in a ribbon. It was his favourite jacket and he planned on giving it to Claire as her graduation gift. Jill dug through one of the pockets and eventually found Chris' phone. Instinctively, she turned it on to see what notifications Chris might have gotten.

"What the hell is BSAA?" Jill asked, handing Chris his phone.

"Oh it's just the group chat all the football players are in," Chris replied, typing away.

"Okay, but what does BSAA stand for?" Sheva curiously chimed in.

"Uhh..." Chris' flushed pink with embarrassment. "It's just an inside joke between me and the boys. It was Piers' idea we call the group chat that anyway."

"You're avoiding the question," Rebecca playfully teased, now just as curious about what it might stand for.

Chris muttered under his breath and returned his attention to his phone.

"Chris..." Jill said, pretending to be stern. She lied down next to him. "You can just whisper it in my ear if you're really that embarrassed." Chris sighed and turned his face to Jill's ear. He cupped his hand over his mouth and whispered quietly to her. Sheva and Rebecca waited to hear what it could just possibly be.

"BIG SHAKIN' ASS ASSOCIATION?!?!" Jill yelled in shock and amazement.

All three of the girls erupted in loud, uncontrollable laughter as Chris blushed with embarrassment.

"Y-You just had to be there!" He defended.

--

It was around one o'clock in the morning when everyone finally began to get into bed. All four of them had a late, intense night and they couldn't wait to finally fall asleep. Chris shared Jill's bed while Sheva and Rebecca tucked into their own. Nobody knew for sure just how long Chris would be staying in their dorm – what they did know, though, was that Chris was a little scared to return to the one he shared with Albert. Chris would never admit it, but, the whole fight really shook him up. He was The Boulder's linebacker – the strongest on the team – and he couldn't even take on someone scrawny like Albert Wesker. The four friends had managed to avoid the topic of the night's events, nearly forgetting anything had even happened. However, just as all of them lied in bed, eyes half closed, Sheva whispered to Rebecca.

"Hey, how did talking to Albert go? He didn't hurt you or anything did he?"

"Oh no, I'm fine," Rebecca replied. "Nothing like that happened. But uhm... he kissed me."

"WHAT?!" Sheva, Jill, and Chris all said in sync. Sheva immediately turned on her bedside lamp as Chris and Jill shot up and turned to look at Rebecca.

"HE KISSED YOU?!?!" Jill yelled. "BECCA WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING EARLIER?!"

"I-I don't know! Just sort of... in shock I guess," she replied. "It was crazy. I had never seen Albert so, well, sad before. He seemed to really regret hurting Chris but we got into an argument anyway. I guess he ran out of things to say so..."

"SO HE KISSED YOU?!" Sheva shouted. "I mean, Jill and I always figured that he definitely liked you back but we never thought he'd actually make a move!"

"Wait, wait, wait, 'liked me back'?" Rebecca said curiously. "I never said I had a crush on him!"

"Becca, you've been using his coat as a blanket," Jill replied. "It wasn't hard to tell that you have a crush on him – even if you didn't know it yourself."

"Th-That doesn't mean I..." Rebecca's face grew red with embarrassment as her voice trailed off. "Yeah I guess you're right."

"Well," Sheva enquired further. "How do you feel about it? What's gonna happen between you guys?"

"Well, uhm," Rebecca thought about her answer for a few moments. "I liked it... but I don't know if he did! He ran off afterwards. I think he might have regretted kissing me."

"No way... he ran off?" Sheva said with a slight chuckle.

"Why are you laughing?" Rebecca asked seriously.

"I'm sorry it's just that, he totally would do that," Sheva replied. "Have you tried texting him since then?"

"Nah I've been too nervous to!" Rebecca said. "The last thing I want to do is bother him about all this."

"Well," Jill said. "How did the kiss make you feel?"

"Uhm..." Rebecca began to blush deeply once again. "I really liked it."

"Hmm..." Jill pondered for a moment. "Well, seeing as how he ran away after, he probably interpreted the opposite. Try seeing if you can talk things out with him and tell him how you feel – in the morning of course!"

"Yeah! Okay!" Rebecca said, cheerfully but sleepily. "In the morning it is! Goodnight girls and Chris."

"Goodnight," everyone replied separately.

As Sheva turned off her bedside lamp and Chris and Jill once again got comfortable, they were all ready to fall asleep once more.

"I can't believe Wesker had the balls to do that," Rebecca could faintly hear Chris whisper to Jill.

Rebecca rolled on her side, her eyes remained wide open. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't make herself feel sleepy. All she could think about was when Albert kissed her. How his lips felt on hers. They were smooth and soft. The more Rebecca thought about, the more embarrassed she felt. Her lips were definitely chapped because of the cold weather but his were just so... perfect. And the way he held her face in his large hands. Rebecca felt her face grow warm just as she reminisced. She placed her own, smaller hands over where he had placed his. Finally, she couldn't stop thinking about the way he held her. Their bodies touching each other so, so closely. The way his hand held onto her head and ruffled her hair. The way his arm wrapped around her small waist, only pulling her even closer. It was more than passion or something from the heat of the moment – there was something more to everything he did.

Every touch and movement he showed to Rebecca last night had a deeper meaning behind it, she just knew it. Rebecca cursed herself for even thinking something like this, but she couldn't help her romantic mind from wandering. Could it be that Albert shared all the same feelings for her? Could what he feels for her be even deeper than just some crush?

Rebecca felt embarrassed just for thinking such things! She needed sleep, that's all.
