Lu Shangjin wiped his dripping hair with a towel, bent one leg against the bedside, and held the phone in one hand. His usual cold eyebrows appeared a little more gentle, looking at the little rabbit across the screen as though he was looking at a small pet. 

On the screen, Yan Yi was about to change his clothes. Just as he put the phone on the bed, Lu Shangjin lifted the corner of his lips, the faint yellow wall lamp making the outline of his face more three-dimensional, “I want to see you change your clothes.”

“What’s there…so good to see…you’ve seen all of me before.” The skin under the soft fluff of his rabbit ears abruptly filled with blood and turned pink. Yan Yi hurriedly hid where Lu Shangjin couldn’t see and changed out of his work clothes. 

He picked up the phone and didn’t know how to end this video call, but subconsciously, he didn’t want to end it. 

“How stingy, I’ll take mine off to show you then.” Lu Shangjin smiled, untying his bathrobe and threw it aside before changing into the dark blue pyjamas beside his pillow.

“If we get together again, will you give me a baby?” Lu Shangjin asked very sincerely, even the subtle light in his eyes was clearly visible. 

Yan Yi’s heart drummed loudly, the beat making his chest ache. 

A baby.

He was having one now. But he just didn’t dare to tell him, afraid that he couldn’t bear the unexpected reaction.
