Yes, the king is pissed, he almost ends Thanos's life, at that moment he really thought the war was over. But Thanos gave the universe a snap with his fingers, then got away through a portal. Thor furious asked what did he do, and the answer he got was everyone turned to dust and slowly faded away.

"No no, Y/N!" - He searched for you, hoping you are an exception.

"Y/N please answer me!" - Another person became one with nature as he called out your name. He fears that you would be gone too.

"Thor..." - You called

He heard you from afar, you were tired, afraid, and confused about what was going on.

"Shh it's okay little one, you're safe with me, I'm-"

He didn't get the chance to finish his sentence, he reached you, tried every second to hold your warmth within him but what he got in his hand was your dust, you vanished with a blink of his eyes. Thor couldn't believe what he just saw, he didn't want to accept that you disappeared, went to eternal darkness just like the others.

He was mad at the thought of you dying instead of "missing", he's not sure where you are, or when you will come back and that fear of his is killing him to this day.

Every time that scene showed up in his mind, his vengeance grows, he saw you, you saw him, you were looking, asking for help yet he couldn't do that on time. You were just a few centimeters away from him and now you're at somewhere he doesn't know and cannot reach, he had lost everything, he did not wish to lose you.
