"Why did you kill my father?" Jaime raised a shocked brow at his wife, having been in the gardens taking a small walk to aid in her recovery. There had been a mutual understanding between the couple that her father was an awful person and deserved his fate but it had just occurred to him that she had never asked why. He had ignored her for a moment, trying to shake his mind of the memory of that day, but when he glanced down at his wife she bore an annoyed and unimpressed look on her face. She was a mother of two, possibly soon to be three, and all of those children were his. She had every right to ask, every right to be curious as to why the father of her children slit her father's throat.

"Why are you asking now?" He continued to extend the conversation, the truth was he didn't want to explain it, not now and not to her. They'd been married for three years without this matter being brought up, and Jaime fully intended for it to stay that way, especially with her in such a fragile condition. A condition that she noted, many times since they rose from their long rest, was his fault.

"Are you stalling?" Her violet eyes narrowed adjusting her violet shawl that wrapped around her arms.

"I'm not" He lied, his facade something she could easily look through. "Can't I just enjoy a walk with my beautiful wife on this beautiful down" Her annoyed gaze remained on her face. "Or should I suggest you join my Aunt's sewing group" Her face finally budged, contorting in disgust as she took a small step away from her.

"I would rather die!" She proclaimed, balling her fists up. Jaime gave her a small smirk, shrugging his shoulders "It was just a suggestion"  She glared at him, a look that anyone else would've stepped back from. Jaime just grinned.

"You still didn't answer my question" His face dropped, thinking he had made it out of this interrogation, but knowing Visenya for so long he should have known that he was far from it.

"Not now, not yet" He spoke in a cold, demanding tone similar to that of Lord Tywin. She knew he was hiding something, something revolving around him just by the way his tone changed and his stature would shrink. Things weren't quite right about the stories the kingdom spoke, Kingslayer, Oathbreaker, Man without Honor. Visenya didn't even particularly want to know, but it served its purpose.

"I want to go see the boys" She announced, looking around at the empty gardens that surrounded them.

"They're with Tyrion" Jaime answered, "He seems to think he can teach them to read already" He continued, she raised a confused brow "They are two?"

"Tyrion learned at three" He shrugged, although he had to admit his brother was a rarity. She snickered, pausing for a moment to admire the fresh blooming roses beside them "And when did you learn?" She asked, her eyes trailing the beautiful flowers. She knew that he wasn't a man of knowledge, that he despised to read and often grew frustrated at his sloppy handwriting "Around nine, maybe even ten"

"Well then I am glad you are better with a sword" He grinned at her comment, watching as she trailed her hand across the soft red petals "Father was glad" He mused, turning to spot a silver lily. He plucked it with ease, spinning it between his fingers as he dropped it before her gaze "And you don't have any weaknesses?" Her indigo eyes shifted to his for a moment before taking the beautiful flower into her palm.

"Spiders" She admitted, licking her lips as she inhaled a small breath of the floral scent. Jaime looked at her in disbelief, his wife rode dragons, how could she have been afraid of spiders?  "I know. I was very small, only five, but I'd seen the masters collection at Dragonstone when Rhaegar found out and he traumatized me even more by placing one in my saddle bag. He found it hilarious, mother scolded him for days. That's when she gave me my first book, The Encyclopedia of Insects"
