(time skip until the euros)
It is almost the moment we all have been working so damn hard for, in 2 days we have our first game of the tournament. I was now in London training with the Dutch national team, with a fully healed wrist, so I can luckily play. Leah and I are going strong, it is still not official but I've been planning to ask her after the tournament. Being together with the girls from my national team is always fun, because I can see my friends again, who I don't see so often. Leah was now with the England lionesses. I'm really proud of her, she is captaining their team with so much passion and pride. We FaceTime every night and text each other every day. We have grown together in such a relatively short time, but it feels like it is just meant to be like this. Leah and I couldn't go long without seeing each other. Viv and Beth also have caught us snogging a couple times.
England played the opening game of the tournament yesterday, against Austria. They won the game 1-0, thanks to a beautiful goal from Beth in the 16th minute. Our first game is going to be a very difficult one, because we are going to be playing against the Swedish team.
