Part 48

The next day we had a lot of training with a bit of free time to rest. England has beaten Norway 8-0, which is absolutely mental. We've watched both games of group A in the meeting room. Viv and I both cheered loudly whenever Beth scored, which ended up being three times. Whenever Leah was caught in the shot, I couldn't help but to smile at the big screen. I thought to myself, no matter what, that girl will be mine one day. What are you smiling about, Jill asked me, but as soon as she saw the screen she smiled at me. Juul, do you want to see something nice, Jill asked. Sure thing, she then showed me the photos she had taken the night Leah and Beth stayed with us. Jill, are you serious, did anyone else see this? Just me, Meado, Jack, and Viv, no one else I promise. Alright, but ehh, can you maybe send me these photos I asked with a small smile. Of course Juul, she said while laughing. When we laid in bed I texted Leah good night, and I told her about how proud I am of her and her team. I then went to sleep, Jill was still talking to Daan and Jack. I held Lee's hoodie tight to my chest as I started to doze off.

It is now 2:30 am and I can't sleep, as I've been twisting and turning for the past 45 minutes. So I go downstairs to get some tea or something, but I have to be careful as I don't want to wake Jill. I then get a call from my favourite British centre back, which I of course immediately accept. Hi baby, did I wake you? Nah you're fine princess, you actually timed it perfectly. You couldn't sleep either, right my love? Yeah you're right, I just kept twisting and turning, and I didn't want to wake Jill so I went to stretch my legs for a bit. But you played amazing, you guys were on fire, you absolutely deserved it. Thanks, how was training today? Pretty good, but it was a bit weird without Sari. Do you have any updates about her yet, she asked me. No not yet, but it is probably the end of the tournament for her. That's absolutely shit, can you tell me if you know anything? Yeah of course, if I know anything, you'll know it too.

We talked for about half an hour, I'm now headed back to bed, careful to not wake my twin. And as soon as I get comfortable in my bed, I'm asleep.

The next morning

I called Jade and Perrie this morning, as they are taking care of my guys while I'm with the team. Hailee actually also came to London to see her girlfriend play. Hailee is dating Alexia Putellas, aka the FC Barcelona Captain. The two of them have been dating for a year. They met at a Netherlands v Spain game, Hailee was visiting me with Jade, Perrie and Leigh. Ale had already spotted the beautiful actress in the stands during the game, but when she saw me and the girls talking after the game she approached us. She then introduced herself to the girls, Ale and I then quickly hugged as we were already pretty good friends. The two of them started off as friends, and have grown into a beautiful relationship. Hailee is currently also staying with Jade and Pezza, they have bought tickets to see Spain v Germany and my next game against Portugal. I also have bought tickets for the Spain v Germany game as we have an off day. I'm very excited to see them again, as it has been a while. I called pezza, who quickly picked up. Yo Pezza, how are you? I'm doing great, how are you, oh and by the way great game against Sweden. Thanks, I'm fine. How are my little dudes behaving? They are acting like little crackheads, but they are really sweet and they behave themselves actually. Is that who I think it is, is it Jay!! Hello to you too Jeed, I said while chuckling a bit at the girls' antics. How are you Jeed? I'm feeling amazing. Is that Juul, I hear Hailee say in the background. Yes it is me Haiz. But guys I got to go, I have training. Give my dudes some cuddles, bye gals. Bye Juul, they said in sync.
