Kyoko was thrilled on the inside, having the small urge to just start running towards the interrogation room. Everything that her partner had told her made sense. 'If I knew how good he was back then, I would've asked him to be my partner much sooner!' Yes, she definitely was excited.

And (y/n) was... Satisfied with how things were starting to turn out. If they had decided on one suspicious person, he would only have to play some tricks and they would have an accomplice, maybe even the culprit themselves. Of course, he knew that it would be difficult.

And while he was thinking about possible plans to frame someone, the purple haired female opened a door, dragging him in with her. Only when he looked up, he realized that they were already in the interrogation room. "You seem to be excited, Kirigiri." He chuckled, but didn't receive an answer.

"Why am I even here?" The woman on the chair in front of them looked confused, trying to free herself from the handcuffs on her wrists. "Is this some sort of joke? If so, I don't find it funny at all!" She sounded visibly upset, especially when no one said anything.

"Hey, answer me! Are you trying to frame me for something?! Do really have so little evidence, that you have to frame innocent people now?! I knew you weren't the perfect detective, Kirigiri! No one cares about your graduation from that d-mned Hope's Peak Academy, you little-"

Slamming down a few lists and photos, (y/n) managed to finally shut her up. "Are you done with your useless rant? We have urgent things to do, so please don't waste our time with your anger." His words made her even angrier, but she held herself back from saying anything else.

"Good. You're here because you're one of the suspects in our most recent case. I'm sure you already know what I'm talking about, so I won't go into detail." The (h/c) haired male pulled back the chair for Kyoko, letting her sit down before doing the same.

"I'm only saying this much: There are killings all over the city, which isn't even the tip of the iceberg. In fact, every single crime scene was cleaned up perfectly. No evidence, whatsoever." His eyes remained on the woman as he spoke, while Kyoko prepared to write down anything suspicious.

"And? What does that have to do with me?" She somehow managed to calm down. After all, she would only look more suspicious if she acted up again. "Well, if you take a look here..." He pointed at the list of the people who called in sick. "There's your name."

"That doesn't make any sense! Am I being arrested for calling in sick?" She widened her eyes. "No, you're getting interrogated, because you could've planted false evidence - which was collected in the police station - and no one would suspect you. After all, you were sick, weren't you? If that's even true."

In the end, they had to get someone to bring her out of the room. The female officer would've almost attacked them from being so angry. And that, of course, meant that they had no evidence or even the smallest hint. A complete waste of their time.

"Let's hope that the remaining..." Kyoko looked down at the list. "...seven officers will react differently." Her partner shrugged. "I can kind of understand her, you know? After all, she seems to be innocent. And who wouldn't freak out after being accused with something like that?" "Hm... Maybe you're right, (l/n)."
