It was hard to focus on working while being in a... Well, it wasn't really a relationship. Kyoko knew she wouldn't be able to fully commit to a romantic partner, at least not until her work was done. She didn't want to hurt the (h/c) haired male.

So now, she wasn't in a relationship, but still shared kisses and hugs with him. 'How did we reach this point...? I'm not sure how to feel about this... It's definitely messing with my focus...' The purple haired female sighed, letting her head sink down onto her desk. 'This is bad...'

"Kyoko, I think I found something pretty useful." Her face lit up. She still wasn't used to him calling her by her first name. "O-Oh, that's good. What did you find?" (Y/n) gave her a smile, handing her the laptop that he had used for his research.

"Oh..." The purple haired detective once again said, raising an eyebrow. "That man... Was suspected of brutal murder a few years ago... They didn't arrest him, though. Do you think he really did it and got away with it?" Her partner nodded. "Think about it. He already has experience with it."

"That might be true... How do you think he's related to our case, though? He could really just be a random not-so-innocent man. As far as I can see it, he isn't connected to the victims and locations at all. He probably doesn't even know that these killings are happening."

"Look him up in detail. His style of murdering was pretty similar to the one of our culprit." His words only made the detective sigh. "Look, I know where you're coming from, but I still don't think we should just suspect him. After all, he was proven innocent."

The (h/c) haired male gave her an eye roll. "You're, once again, being to careful. I know that the last person we locked up and investigated was innocent, but this man is more than just likely to be the killer! Please think this over once more, I know you will change your mind."

"Look..." She didn't finish her sentence, growing silent as soon as his face began coming closer to hers. "Are you sure I can't change your mind...?" His voice was only a low whisper at that point, making the situation even more intimate. 'My heart's racing again...'

"I... I really don't think we should arrest that man..." Kyoko got extremely quiet, her cheeks turning red from embarrassment. "Y-You really can't change my mind, (y/n)..." Hearing her say his name made the male blush as well. "My name sounds so nice when spoken with your beautiful voice..."

'He thinks my voice is beautiful? I've never received a compliment like that before...!' It excited her. The way he now was setting his hands on her waist, pulling her up from the chair she was sitting on. "Alright, I won't try to convince you... I want to do other things..."

"Other things...? Like going back to work...?" Setting her hands on his shoulders, the purple haired female gave her partner a small glance. "Hah, going back to work...?" His lips brushed hers with every word he spoke. It was an electrifying moment, waiting to escalate even further.

"No, I'm talking about this..." He pressed his lips against hers for a brief moment, before trailing them down her neck. "I love you, Kyoko, I really do. It doesn't matter if we're in a relationship or not, I still want you to be mine..." She gasped. "I gladly will be yours."
