"I need you to come to the police station right now!" Kyoko sounded upset about something. At least on the voicemail. "Hm... It's been about three days. Seems like they finally discovered the body. Or maybe she's upset because of something else? No, I doubt that." Shrugging, the (h/c) haired male got into his car."Whatever it is, I should check up on her, or else she will be mad at me." He chuckled. "She can be quite hotheaded when it comes to her work." While he drove, (y/n) couldn't help but continue thinking about the purple haired female. She was quite the beauty, he had to admit that.
"I also love the way she glares at me when we've reached a disagreement. I wonder what she would think if I told her that. Maybe she would take me to a mental hospital." He laughed. "If she knew who I am, she would've already done that."
When he finally arrived at his destination, he was surprised to see her waiting for him. "What took you so long?" Pinching the bridge of her nose, she quickly grabbed his hand. "It doesn't matter now! We finally have lots of evidence! They even found the body!"
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow. 'They found the body? I didn't know seeing something clearly lay in the middle of a small room would count as finding something. They found the crime scene, I will give them that. But that's it. Are they trying to get promoted? It sounds like it.'
"I see! Finally some good news." His excited tone seemed to encourage her even more. "I know! If we find enough useful evidence, we may be able to catch the killer! When we managed to do that, I will invite you to dinner and pay for everthing!"
The smile that she gave him made his knees grow weak. 'Oh my... If only you knew, my dear Kyoko...' It almost made him sad. After all, she would never be able to love him. But at the end of the day, he didn't really care too much. He wouldn't let anyone stop him.
"Do you already have some details for me? For once, I wasn't the one who discovered the crime scene." Kyoko held up her hand, signaling him to stop talking. "I won't have to tell you, because..." For a split second, the world seemed to stop around him.
'Because what?!' He was expecting the worst. Something like... "I won't have to tell you, because you already know all the details, don't you? I knew you were the culprit, but I'm more than just disappointed in you. To think that I ever was friendly to you... Have fun in prison."
Instead, the purple haired female looked quite anxious. He wasn't sure why, at first. Until he looked into the same direction as her. There they were, those b-stards: Two officers, smiling ever so brightly while getting their picture taken in front of the body. "We made more progress than that detective!"
He didn't know why his blood started boiling. (Y/n) knew he had to make them vanish. 'Those a--holes. Are they really claiming the reward for Kyoko's hard work? Who do they think they are? I have never seen these men in my whole life! As if they deserve this praise!'
Before the photographer could press the button, he rushed into the room, shoving the two liars to the side. "If you want to take someone's picture that bad, take her's." He waved Kyoko into the room, shooting the two officers a glare. "She's the leading detective in this case."
