with her sketchbook tucked under her arm, she drew any ideas that she had and soon the pages were filled with the thoughts of her mind. howard left home for the big city of new york while she was left alone with an abusive father who was still grappling with the sudden death of his beloved wife.
moments that would never leave grace's mind for the rest of her life.
when doctor erskine approached howard about the possibility of turning a skinny man into a super soldier, grace met him. steven grant rogers. the man who only wanted a chance to serve in the army while the world was at war in the fight against germany.
"the secret ingredient to the us army" was how colonel chester phillips described grace victoria stark. all she had to do was get out of the shadow of her older brother.
