grace victoria stark was frozen in time. everybody around her eventually grew older, got married and started a family, but she was still the same.
well, not completely the same.
howard and his wife, maria, had died and their son, tony, became the new ceo of stark industries. grace was a dutiful aunt to her only nephew, despite how much stress he added to her ageless life.
if she could get gray hair, he would be the contributing factor.
steve rogers had sacrificed himself to save new york and end the war. but for grace, she had lost her favorite person. the dog tags faithfully stayed around her neck day after day, wishing desperately that he was with her rather than at the bottom of the arctic ocean.
oh, and there was the small detail that her nephew announced himself to the world as iron man.
