I awoke in a cold sweat, finally escaping my nightmares, I groaned and sat up, looking around at my sleeping siblings in the Ares cabin. I threw on an orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt and got out of my bunk. It looked to be about 5 AM and I could just see the slightest light on the horizon. After grabbing my sword and knives from against the wall, I went to the door and opened it slowly. Outside was cold and the grass under my feet was covered in dew. I silently crept over to the Athena cabin and tapped on the back window. Seconds later, the curtains were opened and Zoe peered out of the window. The front door opened shortly and Zoe stepped outside. "Hey, Matt! You couldn't sleep either?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm just so excited that it's already the summer holidays!" We walked together to the fighting practice arena and sat in silence on one of the benches for a while. "You know what? Wanna practice?" I asked. "Sure, why not. We're far enough away from the cabins so they won't wake up" We pulled out our swords and began to practice.
