Chapter 5: Just Friends
Continuation from last chapter
The next day
Waking up in Shawn's arms was probably the best feeling she's felt in the longest time. For the first time since her break up with Jamie, she had actually smiled.
She decided to wake up early and cook then both some breakfast. She was so happy when she heard Shawn coming down the stairs.
"Wassup!" He smiled hugging her from behind
"Hey!" She blushed as she put the bacon in the pan
Ooo this man don't know what he do to me! She lowly groaned as she thought about how he makes her feel.
"You Good Girl?" He asked sitting on the counter top.
She took a deep breathe and turned around then frowned.
"Boy get yo ass off my counter!" She yelled picking up an oven mit throwing it at him before turning around and speaking again "And yes I'm fine."
He laughed and got off of the counter and sat on the stool. As she cooked their food they made conversation.
Eventually the food was finished and she was making plates for the both of them and they were sitting at the counter eating the food.
"Damn I didn't know you cook like this!"
"Yea I can do a Lil something in the kitchen!" Bey giggled
"Ok so the plan is after work we take a nap and meet back up to go out with my two friends and you bring your friends?" Bey asked and Shawn nodded his head
"You made the plan I expected you to remember it!"
She laughed shaking her head "You're right I don't know why I'm tripping."
He nodded his head and they ate in silence. When they were done they got the dishes washed, and they were on their way out.
