A few weeks later

Beyoncé, and Shawn had just came from the movie set they were both playing on. They were having so much fun on and off set.

They promised each other they wouldn't ever fall off again and they both meant that. They had been good with keeping up with that promise as well.

Shawn had been accustom to just showing up to her house on weekdays and Bey shows up at his house weekends. For some reason this had become accustomed to not sleeping next to each other. Neither of them minded so it was ok to them.

Right now they were going to get lunch and spend the rest of the day together, possibly spend some time with their friends.

"So where you wanna eat?"

"Shawn, honestly? I don't even know."

Both of them laughed before Shawn suggested somewhere to go.

"Oh how about we go to fudruckers." Bey smiled as she thought about eating a nice size burger.

"I haven't been in a long ass time actually. Their burgers are good as hell." Jay spoke out again.

"Yea for real though!" She agreed while putting in her seatbelt

They rode together to work, so it only makes sense that they ride together to their next destination.

"Hey Shawn?" Bey spoke

"Yea wassup?" He asked as he pulled up to a red light.

"You we have been staying at each others houses, and I don't know much about you."

Shawn chuckled as he came to that realization as well. "You right, I mean you could be a serial killer."

She laughed out loud and slapped his arm. "Oh shut up!" She smiled at him

"Ard how about we get to know each other at Fud-" she was interrupted

"Oh so like a date?" He asked

She giggled at him and smiled "Maybe." She blushed as he looked in her eyes with admiration.

She quickly looked away and looked out the window, and he pulled off from the stoplight.

"We can make it a date."

"Cool." He spoke trying to hide his excitement.

She heard the excitement but decided not to say anything. She smiled at him.

He looked over at her, before he could say something she spoke up.

"I can tell you like me. You know that right?"

"I thought I was doing a good job hiding it." He laughed a bit nervously

"You don't have to be so nervous."she laughed

"I like you as well!" She spoke and took a pause "but I just got out of a relationship so I want to take this slow." She spoke as she turned all the way around to see him. She put her hand on his knee.

His heart dropped as he felt her warm pretty hands on his bare skin.

He tried not to lose focus but I was hard. He was so glad they had pulled up to the restaurant. He was damn near sweating.

3 hours later

"Ok everyone take 5!" The director yelled out

"Thank you! 5" was all you heard throughout the set.

"Beyoncé, Shawn?"

They looked up at the director and he began speaking.

"Ok so y'all are doing amazing! The only thing I want to say is when it comes to the hotel scene that we shoot next week I need y'all to be on it like y'all were this week?"

They both nodded their heads and smiled.

"Any questions?"

"Oh I actually do have one?" Bey spoke up

He looked at her, signaling for her to go ahead

"So when we finish the first part of this scene-"

"We're don't for the day."

"No I know that but-"

The director sighed and spoke interrupting her again.

"You're coming back tomorrow to do the second part."

"Ok that's not what I'm trying to ask-"

"This is why I don't hire black women." He mumbled but they both heard him

"You do know that was unnecessary right?" Shawn butted in. He didn't have to even look at Bey to know that hurt her.

"Excuse me?"

"I mean Paul seriously? How do you expect to want people to work with you when you talk to us like that? That was definitely racist as well."

"It's not like it was towards you!"

"But it was still in front of me, to someone with the same race as me and it made not just me but Beyoncé uncomfortable as well." Shawn defended

"Mk whatever. Y'all are dismissed to go home."

They looked at him in disbelief as he walked away. Beyoncé kept her head down and tried to keep her tears at bay.

Shawn rolled his eyes and began packing their things. He didn't understand how someone can be racist and then be mad they get called out on it.

"Hey." He said softly

She lifted her head up and he saw her face flushed with tears running down her face. The look in her eyes showed the pain and fear she felt.

He pulled her into a much needed hug. "It's ok-"

"It's not I just jeopardized not only mine but your job as well Shawn? I'm so sorry!" She cried into his shirt

"It's fine I'd rather lose my job than to let someone spit racist insults in your face." He spoke kissing her forehead.

After she finally got herself together, with the help of Shawn they exited out of the building.

"Let's get food!" Shawn suggested and Bey nodded her head.

She was in deep thought about what had happened, and she didn't know how she should feel. That was the first time a a good bit where someone said something like that to her. She didn't know how to handle it then, and she didn't know how to handle it now.

She sighed and stared out the window as Shawn named places for her to eat.

"Honestly Shawn it doesn't matter to me. Just pick a place." She spoke with a soft tone.
