Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday went well. I mean it was fine, you went to school didn't ignore completly everyone. You just survived it to today
It's Friday afternoon, the day of the Ball. Now you are laying on your desk and waiting for end of the last lesson. After about 10 minutes lesson ends and you get up and make your way to your locker
When you are taking stuff from locker and making ready to go home someone comes next to you and speaks
"Hey, can we talk?" You turn your head and see Sadie with sad face
"Yeah sure..."you can't even end your sentence and Sadie grabs your hand and drags you to a bathroom
She looks to every cabin to makes sure you are alone and then turn to you with more serious face than before
"Sadie? Something happened? You seems...angry." you say to her but she doesn't move or speak just standing there
And then she takes your hand
"Y/n, yes something happened but i don't know what it is. You barely talk to me these days and just...you are more closed into yourself. You ignore me, why? It's about that ball? You don't want to come? Please, just now Y/n talk to me." She says and you can see tears forming in her eyes
You gently grab her cheek with one hand and brush it with your thumb. With that you make her to look at you and your eyes lock for a moment. You can feel her tears falling on your hand
"Sadie..please don't cry. It's..just my dad. It's really hard in home since they came back and i just don't want to do anything. I am sorry i didn't tell you but i didn't want to drag you down with my family problems." You tell her as still looking into each other eyes
"I just want you back. I want us back..." She says and stops for a minute but you can see she wants to continue so you stay quiet
"Remember that day when i slept at your place for a first time? And then you got me on your motorbike and i didn't want to...You told me to trust you and i did and it was the best decision i made." She finishes and sighs sadly. Still looking into your eyes and crying
You don't know what to say so you just stand there and looking at her
"I don't want to make you feel that you are alone. you are not. You have me Y/n. I want that Y/n who make me feel better everytime, who is always by my side... Y/n i miss you." She says crying and she can't look into your eyes anymore
You feel guilty and angry at yourself
You gently take her cheeks by your hands and make her looks at you again. You gently pull yourself to her and kiss her forehead
"Tonight at 7pm in front of your house. I'll be waiting for you" you say, turn around and go home
By your way home you are thinking about everything. You are so angry at yourself. But you know that it will solve tonight. You hope
It's 6:57 pm and you just arrived to Sadie's house. You take a deep breath and go to the front door
You are standing in front of the door and you are so nervous so you are just standing there. You have suit and tie. It really suits you, even though you are a girl. Your h/c hair is laying on your shoulders and beautifully decorating your face and suit. You have flowers with you too
When you are ready you knock on the door and after a few seconds Sadie's mom opens
"Oh hi Y/n." She says with welcoming smile
"Hello Mrs Sink, you look great today" you say with a warm smile
"Thank you, but look at you. You look handsome in that suit. Come in, please." She says and invites you in
After a few minutes of talking with her mom you hear steps and turn around. Sadie is standing there in her gorgeous dress
(You can imagine dress from film festival)
You are frozen. You never seen something so beautiful in your entire life
"Come on, i will take picture of you two" Sadie's mom says
"Mooom, we are going there just as friends it's not actual ball for us it doesn't need photo." Sadie says and that moment you can feel your heart breaks
"Right Y/n?" Sadie speaks and turns her head to looks at you with face of hope
"Yeah..yeah sure. Sadie is right. Just friends. Can we go now ?" You say still broken and hope that you can run from this all
Heart break. Noooo
