After everything was cleaned up after the birth, and the doctor said Louis and the baby were both doing great, the new parents were left on their own to bond with their newborn daughter.
Louis had her in his arms now, and Harry was just watching them, still feeling in awe of both of them: Louis for giving birth to her, and the baby for just existing.
"What are we going to name her?" Harry asked.
"Elena" Louis replied.
"That's the name I suggested at your baby shower" Harry said, as he had written it down on the board of name suggestions.
"I know" Louis smiled "I've loved it since I saw it written there, and it sounds well with Styles".
"Styles?" Harry frowned.
"You don't want to give her your last name?" Louis said wide eyed "If you don't, it's okay, she can be a Tomlinson".
"No, I want to, I just don't understand why mine and not yours, or both" Harry told him.
"I just don't want anyone doubting you're her dad" Louis said.
"My name's going to be on her birth certificate no matter what, so don't worry about that" Harry told his friend.
"Still, I want her to be Elena Styles" Louis insisted.
"Okay" Harry smiled, and looked at the baby girl "Elena Styles it is".
"Thank you" Louis grinned.
"No, thank you, Lou" Harry said sincerely "You did all the hard work, and now she gets my name, it doesn't seem fair".
"You saved me, Harry, and her" Louis said looking up at Harry with glossy eyes "And I will never forget that".
"You saved yourself, and you protected Elena" Harry said determinately "Don't forget that".
Louis nodded, and Harry kissed his forehead, leaving his lips there for a few seconds.
"What about middle name?" Louis suddenly asked.
"Louise?" Harry suggested "It's only fair".
"Sure" Louis chuckled "Can you take a picture of us though? So I can send my family and tell them her name?".
"Yeah" Harry smiled, and took out his phone.
He basically did a photoshoot of Louis and Elena, and also of just Elena, and they might have also pressed the call button to ask a midwife for a picture of the 3 of them together.
And then, while Louis texted his family, Harry did the same, and decided to send a message to the group chat he had with his parents and sister.
To Styles Family: I'm happy to introduce to our family my daughter Elena Louise Styles, born June 26, 2023 at 12:17 PM. She weight 7 pounds 8 ounces, and measured 20 inches!

Harry was going to reply to just call when she was free, knowing his sister was at work, and she wasn't allowed to make calls while she worked, but that was when his mum face timed him.
When he picked up she congratulated him, and Louis too, and she said how beautiful Elena, and she asked to see her, so Harry showed her to his mum. Then Louis' family started calling one by one, and so did Gemma, and then Harry's dad, so it took a while for them to have some quiet again.
