Things weren't awkward between Harry and Louis, things were normal, at least as normal as they had been since Elena was born.

Today was Thursday, and Elena was only 10 days old, and Harry was looking after her while Louis took a nap.

"Are you my beautiful girl?" Harry cooed at her "Yes, you are, you are beautiful, and daddy loves you so much".

Elena was still very much in her newborn stage, always curled into a little ball whenever they held her, like Harry was doing right now. And she was still looking exactly like Louis, it was incredible, she was his little copy, and Harry loved that, because it made her look very cute.

Elena made a little noise, and Harry knew she was pooping, but he honestly didn't mind changing her, it was just part of being a dad, and he loved being a dad more than anything. That's why he was dreading going back to work on Tuesday, which was when his paternity leave was over.

But he didn't want to think about it until it happened.

"Hey..." Louis said groggily as he came out of the bedroom.

"Hey" Harry smiled "Did you have a good nap?".

"The best" Louis replied and yawned as he sat down on the couch "Should we take Elena out for a walk today?".

They hadn't taken Elena out at all, except on Monday to take her to her one week doctor's checkup. And although Harry had gone out a couple of times, mainly to buy groceries, Louis had stayed with Elena the entire time, so it made sense that he wanted to go out.

"I think that would he alright" Harry considered.

"If you think it's too soon..." Louis told him.

"I don't" Harry said "And the doctor said it was fine to take her out of the house if it wasn't too warm outside, and it's not today".

"Yeah, that's what I thought" Louis said, and offered her hands to take Elena from Harry "I'm gonna feed her before we go, though".

"Good idea" Harry replied and passed the baby.

"Hi, baby, do you want to eat? Are you hungry?" Louis asked as he set her up for that.

"She's always up to it" Harry commented when he noticed Elena started eating.

"I know" Louis commented "I think we're lucky, I read a ton of blogs and stuff about feeding being a nightmare for some parents, but she's not fussy at all about it".

"Because she's perfect" Harry grinned.

"She is" Louis said as he looked down at the baby, and sweetly brushed her hair with his free hand.

Elena only had a little bit of hair, which was light born and very very soft.

When she was finally done eating, they got her and themselves ready, and they put her in her stroller, and went out.

"Fresh air feels good" Louis sighed as they walked down the street.

Their flat wasn't in a main street, so it wasn't too busy or noisy, and they were walking towards a little park that was close by.

"Do you think you'll go out on walks with her once I go back to work?" Harry wondered, he was pushing the stroller, and Elena seemed to be okay in there.

"I don't know" Louis replied "We might wait until you come home from work to go out".

"Do you remember what you said when you told your mum not to go to the flat anymore to keep you company?" Harry wondered.

"Yeah..." Louis nodded "And I know the longer I wait to go out on my own the harder it will be, but it's different this time, I feel safe when I'm home, because there's a doors to protect me, but out here there's nothing to protect me... if he tries to come near me, he can".
