Chapter 10

Ciera's P.O.V

Ash is acting pretty weird. There was already 2 times that I saw him from the corner of my eye coming up to me but then he suddenly stops and walks away.

Ok. The next time he comes up to me I'll just ask him.

"Ciera?"

Before he could walk away I asked him "Yes?"

"I-i have something to tell you."

"What is it."

"I like you. Like like you a lot."

Surprised by his words I answered "Are you messing with me?"

"No. I'm telling the truth. I really really like you"

I froze for a second. Until I just turned around and walked away.

I don't know what to feel. This is the first time anyone has told me they like me.

I just walked away without saying a word. I am in total shock.

~~~~~~ AT HOME ~~~~~~

What the what just happened. My best friend saying he likes me.

I really don't know what to feel. All I know is that this feeling is weird. Someone likes me? Someone likes me!

It means that I am likable. I never knew that. I'm not sure If I am happy or confused or whatever.

Right now I just want to feel happy.

Tigger and Pooh just stood beside me looking confused. Probably thinking "What's wrong with my human"

So I just told them, they are like my brother and sister. I can tell them anything and they won't judge me. They suddenly became happy for me and jumped up and down. Pooh wagged her tail like crazy.

But wait. I just walked away from my best friend after he just told me he liked me. I didn't mean to hurt him or anything, I just didn't know what to do.

I don't want anything to be weird between us. So should I just act normal as if nothing happened?

"Meow" Tigger said while nodding. "Woof" said Pooh as if agreeing to what I said.

~~~~~~ THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL ~~~~~~

Everything was normal except for Ash stealing glances of me. Was he doing that even before? Huh? Maybe I just didn't notice.

Other than that, everything was normal...until..

~~~~~~ LUNCH ~~~~~~

"Ciera, how was your day?" asked Dani

"It was fine." I replied

"Well good then, we haven't talked because of our subjects and I just feel so appart from you." said Ella

"So who wants to feed Tigger and who wants to feed Pooh?" I asked while picking Tigger and Pooh up and petting them.

"Oh me" said Dani and Ella in unison

I just love how much they love Tigger and Pooh. My gaze went from the twins to Ash.

"Hey Ciera?"

"Yes?"

"About yesterday, I'm sorry for shocking you"

"No no, it was my fault. No one has ever said that to me, ever. So i didn't know what to do. I'm really sorry for-" I was cut off by Ella asking

"Hey, what's going on? What happened yesterday? What aare you guys talking about?"

"Oh, yesterday Ash told me that" Before I could finish Ash covered my mouth and said "I was just telling her to tell me what she wanted for her birthday. Yeah, that's what I said."

"Oh yeah, your birthday is close by." Said Dani

"Yeah, I didn't realize that it is in a week." I replied remembering

"So, what are you going to do for your birthday?" asked Ella

"Maybe a small party, like just the 4 of us and Tigger & Pooh and then our parents. I don't really like big crowds. Oh and then after the party we could have some more jumping fun!" I screamed in excitement

"Yes, I definitely want to go back to sky zone!" Ash replied.

"Maybe we could invite a few classmates when we go jumping" I replied hesitantly

"Yes we should invite a few classmates to let you practice talking to other people." said Dani
