Chapter 12

"I don't think i'm gonna do this. I'll just sit there." I said fearing the tons of people.

"Oh no you aren't. You are talking to them wether you like it or not." Replied Dani

"Come on. Time to practice your people skills. It'll be fine." Said Ella reassuringly.

Then suddenly Dani and Ella screamed 'Hey everybody. This is the birthday girl.'

I nudged them "Why'd you do that? Now everyone is coming over. I think I'm gonna panic."

"I told them so they'd wish you a happy birthday." Said Dani.

Oh man people are coming over. Coming to wish me a happy birthday. It was better when the only thing they knew was some girl from their class decided to treat them.

All of my classmates greeted me. And I told Ash to tell them that they could start jumping.

He nodded and went off. "No I meant scream it out. Don't leave me here alone!"

He smiled and said "You'll be fine." No Ash I most definitely will not be fine. Not at all. Where are Dani and Ella. They must've started jumping already.

Oh my gosh. Two guys are coming towards me. I tried to avoid their gaze so they don't think I know their coming but it's too late.

"Hey you're Ciera right?" The first guy asked me.

A little intimidated by their size I hesitantly answered "Yes" they looked like they worked out and had a lot of muscle

"Happy birthday." He replied

"Yeah, happy birthday and thanks for inviting us." The other guy said

"Yes, I invited all of my classmates." I answered while looking at the ground.

"By the way I'm Thomas Scott but you can call me Tom."

"And I'm Jake Adams or just Jake." They both said with a smile. A smile trying to seem harmless but still. They look scary.

I don't know if I'm scared because they're big or because I'm talking to other people. Probably because I'm talking to other people.

Just as I was about to wander into the DOT zone, my saviours have arrived.

"Hey bro. Is there a problem?" Ash said while shooting daggers at the guys.

"No no. Not at all." Jake replied

"Just saying thank you to the birthday girl for inviting us." Tom said while slightly lifting his hands up to prove his innocence.

"Well Ciera, who are these guys?" Dani said with a flirty tone "Aren't you gonna introduce us?" Ella also said with a flirty tone.

I didn't look at them. I was just looking at Ash. Wondering why he's shooting daggers at the guys.

Eventually I replied " This is Tom and this is Jake." The guys waved.

"And this is Dani and this Ella." I saw the twins twirl their hair and wave back at the guys. Whoa. I've never seen this side of them before. They look silly.

"Me and Ash will just go ahead and start jumping." I said leaving the weird and akward situation.

"Phew. That was a scary situation. I didn't even realize my heart was beating fast." I said catching my breath. Don't know why I was breathless.

He didn't answer me. "Ash?" I said. "Ash?" still nothing. "Ash!?" I said while clapping my hands. He didn't even flinch.

"Ok, Ash. Since you're not responding, I'm gonna jump without you." He must've finally heard me.

"Wait!" He grabbed my wrist. The force was so strong that I sort of flew into his arms. I felt my face getting hot. Was I blushing? I never blush unless I'm embarrassed. Ok weird.

He is so close to my face right now.
