It was 6 in the morning, by now Tsuchigomori would be awake and he would wake up the twins at 6:30 to get ready for their class. The morning sun seeped in through the windows illuminating everything in the room with a soft satisfying glow.

Tsuchigomori was getting ready in the bathroom, starting his morning. Today was the twins first day of [whatever grade/year level they are in in this oneshot]! Tsuchigomori went out of the bathroom, and closed the lights so that Yako could sleep better

He walked into the kitchen and got a pot to put the rice in and filled it up with water then poured some un-cooked rice in. The rice sank to the bottom of the pot and danced around as he washed the rice before cooking it.

He emptied some of the water and turned on the stove low and gently placed the pot above, letting the rice simmer. He covered the pot as he watched over the rice, careful not to burn it.

While waiting for the rice to cook, Tsuchigomori got some vegetables from the fridge and washed them in the sink, still checking if the rice is done.

After thoroughly washing it, Tsuchigomori got a sharp knife and laid the vegetables across the light wooden chopping board as he chopped the vegetables elegantly, slicing the vegetables into small portions. He noticed the rice was done, and put it all into plates for breakfast.

(My dear culinary teacher, pls forgive me for forgetting how to cook rice)

He looked at the time and it was almost 6:30. So, he laid out the plates across the table and went to go wake up the twins. He stepped into their room as he pressed the door open. The twins were still fast asleep, tired from last night as they stayed up late playing with each other.

Tsuchigomori approached both of them and shook them a bit "Wake up, you have to go to school, it's your first day remember" "mm.. five more minutes" Amane groaned out rubbing his eyes as they both slowly got up.

They changed and then went into the kitchen. Sure, the food was a bit cold by now because they were stalled by Amane's whining and complaints because he still wanted to get some more rest. The twins sat down at the table, held their utensils lightly and started eating the rice with vegetables on the side.

While they were eating, Tsuchigomori got Amane and Tsukasa's bags from their room. They were made from fabric but they were still sturdy. They were just simple bags, big enough to hold their books but not small enough that it would be hard to put the books in. He brought their books back to the living room and started packing them so that they would be ready.

On his way back to the kitchen, he decided he should wake up Yako by now so that the breakfast would still be some what warm when she goes to eat. He creaked open the door to their room gently and moved Yako's arm trying to wake her up. She opened her eyes slowly, she sat up with her eyes still half-lidded. Her hair still tangled since Yako moves around a lot usually when sleeping.

Tsuchigomori brought her to the kitchen to eat, and saw that the twins were still not yet done. "Come on, eat faster or we might be late for your first day" he warned them. Yako sat down and ate, and Tsuchigomori double-checked the twins bags just to make sure they wouldn't leave anything. Yako ate quite quickly, and went to the bathroom to freshen up and get herself ready.

When they were all set to go, Tsuchigomori took a glance at the clock, it read 7:24 theres "still time" he thought to reassure himself. They all went into the car, and Tsuchigomori twisted the keys, starting the engine. "Are you sure you have everything?" he asked the twins and Tsukasa nodded in response. "Do they have their food?" asked Yako and Tsuchigomori replied "Yes, I already packed it in their bags" "oh"
