In a world where magic exists, many spells to make life more convenient and magical that people know by heart. Where young kids that are lucky enough for the magic to run through them, they are taught about the magic world starting at a very young age. What about the people who don't have the magic running through them? Well, they live a very similar life to us. The only difference is, they are aware of the people who have magic unlike them. Yako was one of the people who had the ability to use magic, except she knew less spells than others since they found out a bit later in her life than everyone else did.

Yako had to learn more spells at once than others to catch up with them. Right now, she had to practice her teleporting spell since it was a crucial part in her learning. She found it a bit difficult, but not as hard as the other things she had to learn. She tried to teleport to her bed from her table, and it finally worked. She was going slower, teleporting from small distances to bigger distances. Soon enough, she was able to teleport to the corner shop across the street.

She went inside and picked up a bar of chocolate from the candy section. She went over to the counter and gave the money and waited for the receipt. She put both the receipt and the chocolate bar in her pocket, and walked out and stood in front of her house. She didn't want her parents to know she was still awake at this time so she teleported back into her room. At least this spell could be useful if she learns to teleport even farther distances.

She decided to practice the spell one more time since she was thirsty, and she appeared in the wrong place. "OW- WHO THE HELL ARE YOU??" dang it, she teleported in the wrong place. There was a guy around her age being squished by her. All those successful teleporting attempts really got her hopes are. She immediately got off his bed and started apologizing. "I'm so sorry I was practicing my teleporting spell and then accidently went here.." "Makes sense, where did you teleport FROM?" "****" "Dang that's far from here, I could bring you to the station so you could catch a train back?" "Yes please"

"The station is pretty near but I assume you have something early to do the next day so let's hurry" He put on his shoes and went out of his room and into the hallway giving Yako a hand signal to follow. "My parents are asleep right now and they're deep sleepers so we'll be fine come on" He walked down the stairs and guided her downstairs. He got some money from the drawer and handed it to her. "This should be enough for a train ticket right?" She took it from him and put it in her pocket. They walked out of the door, carefully closing it to make sure they wouldn't slam it.

"Where are we again?" "******" "Ah, you were right it is far" "I hope I can get back in time before school starts.. I was up late practicing my spells" "Then we'd better hurry up" he grabbed her hand and started walking faster, which eventually turned into a run and she ran with him hand-in-hand. The night was quiet, people sleeping early since it was a working day the next day. The street lights flickered dimly, the moon's glow shining above them watching.

It seems like he knew where they were going, Yako was following a bit behind him still in his grasp. Well, he did live here, maybe he took the train to school everyday?

Soon enough, they were at the station, he walked up to the [yk the thing where you buy tickets yeah yeah that person] pulling Yako behind him. Yako put the money that he gave her earlier on the table. "One-way ticket to **** please." "he butted in "uh"- and can I also borrow a pen please?" He took the pen and lifted up Yako's hand (the one he was holding) and wrote a series of numbers on it and returned the pen.

"Call me.. you know if you uhm teleport at the wrong place again"

He was about to give her a smile but then suddenly changed his mind and ran the heck outta there. She took the ticket from the person working there and boarded the train. She looked out the window as the train left the subway and all she could see was the blank wall. There were only a few other people on the train with her, lots of empty seats left. She was quite shocked because she heard that it was hard to get on a train in this area because of how cramped it was. She leaned her head back onto the window and closed her eyes, her body relaxing.
