Yako was only 14 years old when this started happening.

She was running late for a meet-up between her friends, running one room from another. She ran out of her house, keeping the same pace through the street. But, suddenly her surroundings felt like it was spinning.

Like the feeling of a weird amusement park ride. She closed her eyes slightly, preparing herself for whatever what was going to happen. Then she suddenly, she noticed a bright light shine in front of her. She opened her eyes and looked around her. All of the surroundings were entirely different than before, sure there were still things she could recognise, but overall it felt like an entirely new location.

There were old style houses, a few small stores with people all around. "What?.. Where am I?" She was absolutely puzzled. Her mind was completely thrown off track. She walked around slowly observing the area, trying to spot any clues about where the heck she is.

She sat down on a bench, trying to fit the pieces together. She worried that she would be even later than she is now to go see her friends. Would she even be able to get back home?

She could feel and hear someone's breath on the same bench next to her, bringing Yako back to reality. She looked to her left and saw a boy just a year or three older than her.

He was a pretty tall guy and had short dark brown spiky hair with white bangs covering most of his hair on the other side. He had cold dark purple eyes looking back at her. He was wearing a simple outfit (SHUT UP SIDHAKDNJS IT TAKES ME YRS TO DESIGN TWO CHARACTERS AND YOU EXPECT ME TO SAY THEIR OUTFITS IN DETAIL EVERY TIME), smiling at her but also had a bit of worry in his eyes.

"You seem confused, may I help you with something?" He offered and Yako was about to say something rude but decided to not waste this opportunity. "Yes- uhm.. where are we?"

"Ah, I see... your lost. Well, we're in ******** street" He answered her question, which made Yako relieved and even more confused at the same time. Where ever she was, it had the same name as where she was just before all of this happened.

Yako suddenly had a conclusion. What if she was in a different year? Yeah crazy idea, but could be possible. "Uhm.. this might come off as weird but.." she muttered to him "What year is it?" "It's 1933 of course" and that's when it hit her. She was right, she was literally in the past.

She somehow found herself walking with this stranger, not knowing what to do, so she decided to accept it. The buildings were amazing to look look, barely any of them still being around at the time she was from. They stopped at a cafe a few blocks away and sat down.

The cafe had a mostly wooden interior, and was small with 3 tables and 6 chairs, with menus on each of them. They sat down at a table near the window because it was brighter there, and Yako picked up the menu infront of her.

She ordered a coffee, and he said he didn't want anything. Yako looked at him with a small gentle smile. Yako's facial expression switched when she remembered that she probably doesn't have money from around this time and panicked.

"Hey I uh- just to be clear.. you're paying right?" "Of course I am.... oh and by the way, I'm Tsuchigomori Ryūjirou"

Yako didn't tell him her name incase that he was a weirdo so he couldn't find her, but she couldn't help but enjoying the time she had with him. Her coffee arrived and she took a sip of it, staring into Tsuchigomori's eyes.

Even though they were only there for barely 30 minutes, it felt like hours to her. Yako decided to go back outside to think on what to do so she bid farewell to Tsuchigomori. She rose from her seat and pushed the glass door open, walking back into the street.
