Cheat Sheet:

Corelia: The legendary queen of Sybilius; the same leader Kita abandoned, despite once deeply respecting her, to live with the Zyrean Demons.

At the entrance of Queensland's palace, Kita couldn't help glaring when she saw the Queen of Hearts, but on second thought, she wasn't surprised. If a version of Leiytning and Thundur were in Wonderland, and a version of Maia, she figured this person would be present, too.

The tall lady's hair was chestnut, with red streaks tied in small tails by golden clasps. Her elaborate gold crown had a heart-shaped ruby, with smaller ones around it. Her dress was primarily crimson and red, with white hearts on the front and a black belt. She also had black stockings, red knee-high boots, and a golden scepter with a ruby heart.

It wasn't hard to know that, in Wonderland, she was the infamous Queen of Hearts. Under the guise, however, she was an even more infamous queen. Corelia Erxina.

"Corelia," Kita murmured

"Corelia," Kita murmured. "I should've known. The royalty, the rumors of tyranny, the Hitais as guards, and even this palace. Now I know why it's familiar; it's just the Aubade Palace with a fresh coat of paint."

Suddenly, the queen smacked Kita with the scepter.

"Fix yourself!" She snapped. "Honestly, impudent little child, you should never behave so unfavorably before royalty." She smacked Kita in the side, then in the chin. "Stand up straight, keep your head up, stop slouching your shoulders, curtsy or bow formally, stop muttering and always address me as 'your majesty.' Do you understand?"

Kita mentally cringed. Months ago, I know I would, without a moment's hesitation. I always wanted to treat Corelia with the respect she deserved -or the respect I thought she deserved. Now the thought of showing any respect to her is appalling.

She discreetly sighed, glancing over her shoulder. All she saw were the guards, the Gryphon, and the expansive hedge maze. It quickly made her realize her position.

I have no escape. I stand no chance, if I run. I don't have a choice if I want to get out of here.

Even though it crushed her inside, Kita curtsied and spoke clearly, "I apologize, your majesty."

"Hmph." The Queen smirked. "There we go. Optimally, you'd be doing this while wearing red, and I really wish you weren't such a scrawny little thing, but it can't be helped now." She turned away. "Come, then, hurry up!"

Kita begrudgingly obeyed, following the red-adorned queen into the palace's tall corridors. The inside matched the card-like aesthetic of everywhere else, but any similarity to the Aubade Palace was lost. Kita was already confused, trying to remember the layout. Kita was relieved to see the White Rabbit staying with them, though, with a small group of card guards.
