I closed my book with a lot of force and huffed in frustration. This past week has been the worst. Hailey has been blatantly ignoring me and well I can't even blame her. After the night at club, it would have been pretty awkward. I don't know what came over both of us but I won't say that I regret it. Touching and kissing her soft skin, hearing her sweet moans made me feel things that I have never felt before. I don't know what's happening with me. If it's just lust for her or something more. I'm scared if it's the latter. All throughout the years, my dad has been instructing and giving me lectures about how relationships are just petty distractions and I should only think of getting in a relationship after I get drafted. I didn't mind it because I did not like anyone that much to be considering having a relationship with them. But now I am not so sure anymore.
When I came back home after practice, I took a nap. After procrastinating for hours, I finally decided to study for a while but studying without Hailes is so boring. Simply sitting and studying with her made it so much more bearable and eventful. So I texted Hailey again.

I sighed. I did not considered it as a drunken mistake or something that I regretted but I did not wanted to make things more awkward between us, so I went along with it.
