CHAPTER 4 (TUTOR)

POV - HAILEY

'Fine, I'll tutor you. Meet me at the bench near the lake at 7am sharp'.

I am regretting my life choices. Regretting and asking myself that why the fuck did I agree to tutor Aaron. I haven't told Lucas anything about it and I don't think I am ready to tell him about this. I know he is going to be very upset and I'll feel very guilty. I will tell him but not now. For now I need to keep it a secret. Just for sometime. 

Yeah keep telling yourself that.

Shut up.

It was currently 6:15 am. I brushed my teeth, showered and got changed. 

I sent a message to Lucas that I won't be coming to the gym today with him because I wasn't in the mood to workout today. Of course I left out the real reason because I know Lucas is not going to take it that well.

I finally at 6:55am reached the lake and sat at the bench. I removed all the study material from my bag and waited for Aaron. He finally came at 7:05am and sat across from me at the bench. I started saying, "You are late despite me saying to be at 7am sharp".

"I was getting coffee for you as a thank you, Hailey".  He then passed me an iced white mocha. He started removing books from his bag and I took this time to take in his appearance. He was wearing a brown sweatshirt along with light beige shorts. His hair was disheveled due to wind and raking his fingers through it. He has very beautiful eyes. He is someone who looks very good without putting any effort. Fuck why did he had to be so good looking.

"Give me your hand", he said, bringing me out of my thoughts. 

"What"

"Give me your hand once"

I moved my hand towards him and he put a bracelet upon it with tiny beads and then grinned like a child.

"What is this, Aaron?"

"A bracelet", Aaron said. 

"Why are you giving me this?"

He said, "I just wanted to. Don't say I never gave you anything". 

Why is he doing such sweet things and making me flustered. Fuck him.

"Whatever. Let's just get started and please refrain from doing these unnecessary things in the future because at the end of the day we still hate each other. We are not friends or anything and I don't even wish to be I am anyways taking a big chance by tutoring you because of my stupid instincts". 

Aaron frowned and a sad look appeared for a while but disappeared soon. I know I was a bit rude but we both should be clear about our arrangement and I don't want anything else to do with him. I don't want to lie to Lucas about anything more. So I should maintain my distance with him.

"And I have one more condition. No one should get to know about our arrangement and I mean NO ONE. Alright?"

"Yes ma'am", he mock saluted me.

I sighed and muttered to him, "Give me your past papers in which you did not score that well".

I reviewed his papers and said, "You know all the formulas and topics but you do not apply them correctly. You should start with practicing the questions more rather than just revising the notes and content. Today we'll start with practicing some basic example questions". He nodded.

"Okay so this is enough for today. Whenever you get some free time today solve these questions and I will check it tomorrow". I said and started to pack my things.

Aaron suddenly said, "Thank you Hailey, for agreeing to help me".

"It's fine. Bye then".

"Bye Hailey, have a good day".

I nodded and left.

SO THIS WAS A VERY SHORT CHAPTER BUT I WANTED TO ONLY HAVE HAILEY TUTORING AARON FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THIS CHAPTER SO YEAH. The next chapters won't be this short.
