"Y/n!" You heard Lumine shout your name from behind you. "What happened?"

You turned your head around to look at Lumine who huffed in exhaustion from rushing to you. Before she could say anything, she noticed Dain's body on the ground along with the wires sparking electricity. Quickly coming into realization about the situation, she hugged you, her warmth penetrating your own cold body.

Until she had hugged you, you hadn't realized just how cold you were. It was all fake, a ploy made by Sandrone yet, you didn't even know what she wanted from you. The warmth filling her up, you smiled at the comfort.

"Lumine," you hugged her back. "I"m going to find Dain. I think I know where he might be."

"Are you sure?" She asked you. "I don't want you to be hurt anymore. I know how much this hurt you."

"I have a battle I need to finish," you released her hug, your heart as sturdy as iron. "My past has come to haunt me and I need to finish things before it all gets worse."

"If you need any help..."

"Thanks, Lumine," you smiled as you could feel your throat start to clog up. "This is something I need to do myself."

"Good luck," Lumine smiled as she watched your retreating figure.

Walking through the streets, you looked around to look for anything else that you might need. Food, bandages, clothes, water, and potions. Finally ready for the adventure before you, you left the city towards a teleport waypoint.

Setting the location to Snezhnaya, you closed your eyes and felt the familiar pull of the teleport waypoint. Suddenly, the warm weather that you had felt dropped to very low temperatures making you sneeze from the abrupt change. Shivering from the cold, you put your hands in your pockets as you opened your eyes to be greeted by the white scenery of Snezhnaya.

"Cold," you whispered as you hugged yourself in the coat that you had worn.

Looking towards the distance, you noticed the castle of Snezhnaya, the place where you would most likely find Sandrone. Stepping through the thick snow, you pushed yourself forwards with one goal in mind. The goal to find Sandrone and have her tell you where Dain is.

"You're here," you heard a nostalgic voice say behind you.

Turning around while simultaneously summoning your sword, you pointed the tip towards the source of the voice.

"Sandrone," you stared at the platinum brown haired girl with cold blue eyes. The one you had called your sister was now sitting before you on her ruin grader.

"Seems we met each other faster than I expected," you chuckled from the irony. "Thanks for meeting me so quick. Less work for me."

"I expected you to come here," she muttered, her eyes looking down at you with the hate that you vividly remembered.

Clenching your fist, you smiled, "Of course you were after you sent me that wonderful gift."

She nodded nonchalantly as the robot holding her put her down to let her walk towards you. Her dress and hair swaying in the wind, you tightened your hold on your sword in preparation for anything that she could do.

"I hope you like it. I thought very hard on what I should give you."

"Give him back. That would be the best gift ever."

"Why," Sandrone glared at you. "After you ruined me and threw me away, why would I help you? Why would I give you the chance to be happy. My goal for life now is to ruin your whole life. I want to see you suffer, I want to see you miserable, I want you to experience the same pain I felt."

"I didn't want to do that to you!"

"Why didn't you just accept me. You're the reason why your parents created me; an artificial being with feelings, with emotions."

"Sandrone-"

"I was there as when you rejected me. You said I wasn't even human. You said I didn't deserve to be your sister."

"I was a young child. I know I have no excuses but ever since that day when you disappeared, I regretted everything. That's all I can say to you other than that I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for the pain that I put you through sister."

Backing up from the surprise of you calling her your sister, Sandrone turned away.

"This is your fault. I was programmed to care and love for you. My program keeps me from doing anything to you," she shook her head in frustration. "Just stay away from me. Don't remember me. Let's forget about the past. Sorry for dragging you here. I don't have your knight. However, the second closest one to you has him. Leave me. It's better this way."

"Sandrone," you held out your hand, knowing that it was best not to say anything else.

"Leave."

Dejected, you listened to her and activated the teleport waypoint to leave Snezhnaya and return to Inazuma. Memories flashed through your mind as you thought about Sandrone. She had always been calm and relaxed, always logically thinking and an all around quiet but comforting person.

Immediately, you were greeted with the familiar warmth of Inazuma which made your heart tang in regret. Things had ended between you and Sandrone so quickly that you wondered why and how. You had expected a fight yet here you were unscathed.

It was too quick, too easy. It made you feel all the more guilty.

It was all your fault and you didn't even have to face any consequences.

~~~~~
"Why!" Sandrone shouted outloud as she fell to her knees. "Why did I let you off the hook so easily?"
Racking her brain to figure out what the issue with her was, Sandrone stared at her hands. She had been planning her revenge for so long yet when it came down to it, she didn't do anything, she didn't follow her plans. It felt horrible, absolutely horrible.
"Why do I still love you," Sandrone whispered as she looked at the teleport waypoint that had made you disappear.
