Cassius waits for everyone to get in front of him and out of the house to lock it, seeing that Amelia is leading the group to their cars and telling them to just follow after her and Cassius.
He unlocks his own car and watches Amelia hop into the passenger, but Alice and Jasper stand idly to the side of his car as he approaches, making him raise a brow.
"Amelia told us we have to ask you if we can ride with you guys into town." Alice says, hands in front of her and feet together. "So, can we ride with you guys into town?"
The car keys clink in Cassius's hand as he holds back a laugh, feeling his lips quirk upward instead. He glances between Alice and Jasper, saying, "How childish of Amelia."
"Is that a yes?" Jasper asks, his own mouth curving.
"Yes," Cassius says, gesturing over to his car. "You may come with us."
Alice hops into the car first, Jasper following, and Cassius starts up the engine to leave, waiting a little for Carlisle and the others to catch up before fully pressing on the gas.
"How far is it?" Alice asks, not buckled in and holding onto Amelia's seat with one hand.
"A little far." Amelia answers with a slight grimace.
Due to the Denali estate being a little out of the public eye and the Ithaca community living, everything from grocery stores to little shops are a bit out of reach of their home. It was to ensure that they wouldn't be bothered by those they didn't know and unseen when the sun was out, but at times like this, it's a hassle.
Alice hums, but just as her mouth opens, it closes. Cassius looks at her face in the rearview mirror, noticing her glazed over eyes and a straight expression. Her hand holding Amelia's seat has even gone tight. She must be having a vision.
"Alice?" Jasper says, wrapping a loose arm around her shoulder.
"Yeah." She says, leaning a little into Jasper. "I'm here."
"What was it?" Amelia asks tentatively. "The vision?"
"It was us." Alice says. "While we were in town."
"Bad?" Jasper asks, concern painting his face in ways that make Cassius nervous.
"No." Alice says softly. Her gaze meets Cassius's in the rear view mirror and something shifts on her face that makes him frown in confusion. "Not at all."
